2028 Rankings Update: Top Outside Hitters

Her finishing rate was up this past club season despite a lot of attention from the best defenses in the country. She's a Michigan State commit.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='569767' first='Quinn' last='Nelson'], Marian/Legacy: </strong>A recent Virginia Tech commit, Nelson has the length, athleticism, and court IQ to truly be great. She's not afraid of a challenge and is going to keep adding new pieces to her game.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='881556' first='Stella' last='Polavin'], FH Northern/MVA: </strong>A Syracuse commit, Polavin is a major disruptor at the net with her 6'2” frame and impressive athleticism. She can power the ball, or just play over the top.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='569773' first='Skylar' last='Ignash'], Cass City/Michigan Elite: </strong>Ignash really developed into a complete six-rotation player in the last year. She's making an impact in all phases of the game and playing with a lot of confidence.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='807820' first='Addison' last='Bultynck'], Romeo/Michigan Elite: </strong>A polished outside that can also be a lockdown defender, Bultynck has also seen her game maintain a steady incline of improvement.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Other Outsides To Watch</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='817491' first='Olivia' last='Brown'], St. Louis/Legacy: </strong>A 6'2” force that could be a dominant player in the Central Michigan area this fall, Brown will be someone that commands a lot of defensive attention.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='710236' first='Morgan' last='Borodychuk'], Mt. Pleasant: </strong>Speaking of Central Michigan, Borodychuk is another player from the area that is making a splash. She's a strength in all areas of the game and plays with a lot of heart and determination.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='834257' first='Kiley' last='Manyen'], Rockford/FaR Out: </strong>Manyen has a big chance to have a breakout fall for a Rockford team dealing with some injuries. She's going to get a lot of high-level reps against top competition, which should help her find another gear for her game.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='916038' first='Braelin' last='Rodammer'], Valley Lutheran: </strong>Definitely an outside to watch in Division 3 this year. Rodammer has a great approach to the net and mixes up her shot locations well. She impressed as a sophomore and should be even more impressive in her junior year.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='697320' first='Michaela' last='Bremer'], Kent City/FaR Out: </strong>She doesn't have the length of many of her peers, but Bremer uses smooth form and good explosiveness off the floor to be a very impactful outside.
