Avoli Committed Athlete: MN Freshman Showcase

These athletes are chosen for their leadership, sportsmanship, and relentless work ethic — the same values Avoli champions on and off the court. Pending eligibility requirements, each featured athlete receives the opportunity to become a local Avoli brand ambassador. Learn more about Avoli and explore their performance-driven footwear at <a href="http://avoli.com/">avoli.com</a>.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>For the Prep Dig Minnesota Freshman Showcase, the Avoli Committed Athlete Award was given to [player_tooltip player_id='1010870' first='Ainsley' last='Kvasnicka'], an athlete who embodies exceptional dedication and effort. When I watched her play, the first thing that jumped out was her unrelenting effort and high-energy motor. I kept waiting to see if her energy engine would start to sputter as the drills continued and players had gotten "20,000" touches (as described by one of the attendees). Still, she sustained that same positive intensity from the opening whistle all the way to the final ball being shagged. That kind of relentless effort and focus is rare at such a young age, and it speaks volumes about her love for the game.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Beyond the energy, her performance highlighted one of the most vital intangibles of high-level athletes: the ability to elevate the play of those around her. As scouts, we look for physical talent, but there is something to be said for a player who consistently makes her teammates better simply by being on the court or anywhere near it. That contagious drive, court presence, and leadership are huge intangibles that college coaches look for, and it is exactly what makes Ainsley such a deserving recipient of this honor.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
