Earning Their Spot: New Additions to the Minnesota 2027 Rankings

Some have been on our radar for a while while others caught our attention with their play this past club season and made it impossible to leave them off the list. From athletes who bring versatility and high level skill to those who simply compete relentlessly every time they step on the court, this group earned their way into the rankings. On the volleyball court, she is an attacker who can make something happen out of just about anything. Send the ball up high and let Hinderks go get it—more often than not, she will find a way to turn it into a point. She has solid court vision, moves the ball around well, and doesn't rely on just one way to score. Above all, Hinderks is a true competitor, and that athleticism will carry over to the next level. She does a nice job spreading out the offense and keeping all of her hitters involved, making it difficult for defenses to key in on one player. Gleason is also effective when the ball gets too tight to the net, showing good control and awareness to make something out of a tough situation. She can score from just about anywhere across the front row, but she is especially impressive when she gets on the move and attacks off one foot. Her athleticism allows her to get her hands on just about anything sent her way, including those sets that drift a little too tight to the net. She understands what her hitters need to be successful and does a great job delivering it. With a strong core and a consistent release, Jensen doesn't give much away, making her difficult for opposing blockers to read. She reads the court well, hustles, and is relentless on every play. She is also versatile in the back court. I primarily saw her in middle back and right back this past club season where she looks comfortable taking on different defensive responsibilities. What really stands out is her willingness to go after everything sent her way. She can pass, plays solid defense, and brings a sharp swing to the front row. What stands out to me right away is how well she sees the block in front of her. Brennan knows when to attack the seam, work around the block, or use the blockers hands to her advantage. She also has great hands and isn't afraid to use them in out of system situations to set up her teammates. Brennan simply does a little bit of everything and is the type of well rounded player who can impact the game in a number of ways.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
