Middles Towering on the Court at Wisconsin Stock Up Showcase

I already wrote about some of the middles from the showcase as top performers but there were a lot of middles who were very strong. They towered with their play not necessarily their size. But, these players below were hitting, blocking, and working their tails off at the net. Good thing there were a good group of Middles at this showcase because there were strong pins hitting, the middles had to work. She moves extremely well, agile, and uber athletic. Saw her finish some great hits and got some great touches at the net defending and blocking. Quick jumper who can cause problems for the other team on Offense and Defense. Plays bigger than her height at that MB position ... I see she has OH down as a position on her profile. I could see that as well using her vertical and hitting ability there too. Something about her that stood out was her defense on point saving plays. Her profile mentions OH as well so it makes sense. Moves very well, was great on defense getting digs etc. All around player for a middle. Played the position at the Wisconsin showcase and stood out on the front line. Light on her feet and a good jumper. I noticed her during positional training and then again during scrimmages. She has a fast swing that seems to take blockers off guard and just seems fast for a middle. Good athlete and is a problem for opposition at the net. Can hit around the block or through it, good torque in her body when she swings. Really snaps that wrist and you can feel that hit if blocking. I liked what she brought to the table. She really competes and makes a difference on the court. Agile enough to make smart decisions when the set is off, and if she gets that set you better watch out. I was watching her and she was well above the net with her hands blocking. Then during games she got a bunch of touches at the net which made life easier for her DS/L in the back row. Good jumper and she can hit too. But her footwork and work at the net blocking caught my attention. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>These middles were really strong at the net. Made a difference with both hitting and blocking. With the amount of good pins at this Wisconsin Stock Up Showcase it needed strong middles giving resistance at the net, and these players did just that. This was an athletic group of middles which I like to see. Good foot work and good physical talent as well.
