Sapulpa Invitational All Tournament Team and Recap

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>This past weekend we were at the Sapulpa invitational. The tournament was loaded with 5A teams. Now that rankings came out, we can see juts how solid of a tournament this was. It consisted of the #2, 3, 7, 8 , 9, and 11 ranked teams. It was a round robin format where each team got 6 matches and played everyone. Let's look at the players who made the All Tournament team and how the tournament itself shook out.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>All Tournament Players:</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='904300' first='Layne' last='Eutsler'], Setter for Noble. Layne was instrumental to her teams success. Her consistency in her sets really allow her hitters to feel comfortable. Her and the Bears made every team earn in, they went 3 sets in the majority of their matches. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='285769' first='Grace' last='Baughman']. Setter/Right Side for Claremore. Grace, as always, is a stat stuffer and contributes in all sorts of ways. She led the team with 13 aces, 75 assists, and was 2nd with 28 digs. She has a real chance to be an all state selection if she keeps this pace. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Molly Megehee, Setter/Right Side for Shawnee. Molly was outstanding in all 6 rotations. Her ability to cause issues from the service line and while attacking really stood out to me. She had a very calm demeanor and this helped her come up big in big moments. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='761783' first='Jaida' last='Richardson'], Libero for El Reno. Jaida was doing Jaida things again. She was flying around in transition keeping balls alive with some eye popping digs. You could write a note on and read it with how much her float serve doesnt spin. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='944281' first='Parker' last='Lilley'], Libero for Shawnee. Lilley made a strong case for one of the best freshman passers in the state. She has immense drive and determination. You can see it in how she plays the game. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='757042' first='Makynna' last='Skinner'], Outside Hitter for Duncan. Makynna is an ATHLETE, she makes some plays that only she can make. When she gets a good set, watch out for some straight gas. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='800092' first='Radley' last='Miller'], Outside Hitter for El Reno. Radley was a big part of the Wolves getting 3rd at the tournament. She was a solid piece of the puzzle</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='666302' first='Addison' last='Doyle'], Middle Blocker for Claremore. Addison and grace are 2-2 on all tournaments selections this season. Doyle led the team with 12 blocks. she is on pace to break the school record this season after just coming up a few short last year. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='757028' first='Makiyah' last='Skinner'], Setter for Duncan. Makiyah is the 5-1 setter and makes the offense run. She is a set first type of player but she WILL attack the ball.
