2029 Player Rankings: Top Middle Hitters

She's got tremendous explosiveness at the net with an athletic and powerful swing.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='774460' first='Harper' last='Dallaire'], GP North/Legacy: </strong>A 6'2” middle that moves with a lot of swiftness, Dallaire is a prospect that has leveled up in the last year as well. She's putting the ball away at a high rate while seeing the court better and better.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='888953' first='Kennedy' last='Thomas'], East Lansing/FaR Out: </strong>A 6'1” middle that has a lot of agility, Thomas is dominating the Lansing area, but bringing that same impact to club play against the top competition. She's a dominant blocker and a hitter that keeps adding new dimensions to her attack.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='888958' first='Ellery' last='Bieneman'], Lowell/FaR Out: </strong>Bieneman is able to play well above the net with her 6-foot length and power through blockers. She stays very active on defense to be a disruptive defender and a big aid to her passers.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='885464' first='Charlotte' last='Keyes'], Saline/Legacy: </strong>Another long middle at 6'1”, Keyes has great lift off the floor so she can get over the top of the ball and create attack angles that defenders can't dig up. Keyes has great footwork and smooth delivery.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='787391' first='Karsyn' last='Ignash'], Cass City/Michigan Elite: </strong>Another of the long and athletic middles, the 6'2” Ignash makes some of her powerful attacks look rather effortless. She's got a lot of spring off the floor and her timing is in a really good place.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='775900' first='Suri' last='Ewing'], Bloomfield Hills/Legacy: </strong>Ewing is a middle prospect with a high ceiling that has shown a lot of strides in her play as she gets more opportunities. She's got as much athleticism as anyone on the list, and has been picking up her intensity and speed of play.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1003243' first='Ayla' last='Phelps'], Davison/Legacy: </strong>A 6'1” middle that can also play on the right side, Phelps has good court vision and adjust well to her sets. She often makes the smart play, but still is improving with her power shots and attack angles.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1011615' first='Katerina' last='Federick'], Goodrich/FaR Out: </strong>Federick has consistent power and does a nice job of mixing up her shot locations. She anticipates the ball well and doesn't need a lot of space to put the ball away with emphasis.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1005895' first='Ellasyn' last='Teatsorth'], Anchor Bay/Legacy: </strong>There's a lot to like about Teatsorth. The 6-footer can play anywhere along the net and is light on her feet with an athletic swing that has great mechanics. She's putting the ball away at a good rate against strong competition early in the prep season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
