CRUSHING IT AT THE NET: 4A Hitters Making an Impact

These hitters are putting together strong starts, finding ways to score, and showing why they are names to know as the season continues.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Some bring heavy arms. Others use length, speed, or smart shot selection to keep defenses guessing. Her arm is quick, heavy, and difficult to miss when she gets a good swing. She has already put together 150 kills with a .327 hitting percentage for Cheyenne Mountain, showing both production and consistency. Roberts brings plenty of confidence to the attack and continues to look like a dominant offensive option. At 6'1" in the Class of 2027, she has the length to challenge blocks and the approach to attack aggressively. She drives hard into her approach and isn't afraid to go up and over a well-formed block. Payne has already recorded 132 kills while hitting .264, giving her a strong foundation to build on. Known for her basketball success, she is quickly making her mark as a volleyball player, too. Martin has started the season with 128 kills and a .318 hitting percentage, showing that her transition to volleyball continues to be exciting. Her heavy swing creates plenty of bounce when she gets an open look, but her consistency is what really stands out. She has already collected 124 kills while hitting .237 this season. Furthermore, Kiser is especially dangerous when transitioning from a defensive play into attack. She has started the season with 123 kills and a .352 hitting percentage, once again bringing consistency to the right side. However, Pears is more than just a reliable offensive option. She uses her length and court awareness to find difficult corners and make smart decisions against the block. When the moment gets big, she has a knack for stepping up.
