Davis brings plenty of range to the back row. She is willing to chase down difficult balls and continues looking for ways to extend the rally. However, her athleticism is only part of the picture. Davis also shows an understanding of where the ball is going and works to get herself into position early. That combination of anticipation and pursuit allows her to cover a lot of space defensively. With that range and awareness continuing to develop, Davis is another player who could keep making noise.
