Freshman Hammers Making Immediate Impacts On Varsity

But what about the youngsters that are making the transition to varsity look easy? Her ability to turn out-of-system plays into scoring opportunities for her team has led Lapel to a 13-0 record, with a 20-win season once again within the team's grasp. Miss Mead has DOUBLE the amount of kills that the next athlete has on their roster. Normally, having all of that offensive pressure put on a player is usually reserved for upperclassmen. When everyone in the gym knows where the ball is going, do they fold or do they fight? This super young group has exactly ZERO seniors in any statistical category in the top three, which means Miss Tomamichal's leadership abilities are on full display, both physically and emotionally. Big and strong, Miss Robinson is doing all of her offensive leading against 4A competition, and doing it at an elite level. With no one except freshmen and sophomores dotting every statistical category for the Owls, Kendal's ability to be the head-and-shoulders (literally) best option on offense doesn't seem to phase her. I'm looking forward to years of this team's successes, and can't wait to watch Kendal grow into the big time player she's capable of becoming.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
