Milestones: Another Round of Career Achievements

From 500 career kills and digs to 1,000+ assists, these players have reached major milestones through years of hard work and consistency. Several have also set new school records, while others are already closing in on their next career accomplishment.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Jill Keeven – Notre Dame STL</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Jill recorded 14 assists in a loss to Nerinx Hall and reached the 1000-career-assist milestone. Jill currently has 1029 career assists and counting.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Peyton Lasater – Lockwood</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Peyton has been Lockwood's libero since the start of her high school career and recently surpassed the 1,000-dig milestone. Peyton currently has 1069 career digs. This won't be the last milestone for a Lasater at Lockwood.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Mara Coulter – Nixa</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>A fixture in the Eagles' backcourt over the last three seasons, Mara is a hard-working libero. Mara has passed the 1500-dig mark and needs only 399 more to reach 2000. Impressive for the Nixa libero.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Evelyn Haarmann – Oakville</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Tiger has been dropping bombs on her opponents since her freshman season, and recently, Evelyn passed 1,000 career kills, setting the program record.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Erinn Swofford – Branson</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Erinn is having another great season running the Pirates offense, and Erinn reached 2000 career assists and now holds the new school record for career assists. Erinn has 2423 assists and will keep adding to her record for the remainder of the season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Elle Lanfersieck – Parkway West</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Elle has put on quite a show for the Longhorns this season, recording countless double-doubles and some triple-doubles. Elle recently dished out her 1000th career assist and is on the verge of reaching 500 career digs, needing fewer than 80 to reach another milestone.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Eve Litton – Potosi</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>During a sweep of St. Pius X, Eve recorded her 500^th career kill. No small feat, and still with more of the season and next year to add to her total and push for that 1000^th career kill. Eve is also on the verge of 500 career digs, needing only 75 more to reach another career milestone.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Sienna Roth – Kirkwood</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The big bomber in the middle for the Pioneers recently celebrated reaching her 500th career kill. Sienna is off to Lindenwood, where she will definitely reach more milestones. Sienna is the third Pioneer to reach a significant milestone this season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Mackenzie Pancer – Rockwood Summit</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The terrific libero for the Falcons quickly reached 500 career digs during a four-set win over Webster Groves. Mackenzie still has the rest of the season and 2 more full years to shatter more milestones.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Shelbi Mead – Eureka</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Another Wildcat milestone: the sensational setter reached 1000 career assists in a thrilling win over Marquette. Shelbi has 1,071 career assists and will pass 500 career digs before the season ends. Eureka also recently celebrated Coach Fowler on 200 career wins! </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Hayleigh Burres – Stockton</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Hayleigh has broken the school's career blocking record and currently has 76.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Kate Villa – Visitation Academy</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Another fantastic setter has reached a milestone, and this time it's a Vivette. Kate passed 1000 career assists.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Charlotte Bland – St. Dominic</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Crusaders have produced some great setters in the program's history, and you can add Charlotte to that group: she passed the 1000 career assists mark earlier in the season and now has 1122.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Libby Cobb – Windsor</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>I feel like I'm posting every year about an Owl reaching career dig milestones. Libby is the most recent Owl to reach the 1000 career digs milestone, earlier this season at the Alton Tournament against Collinsville, IL.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Emma Blechle – Perryville</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Perryville is having a great season so far, and Emma is doing her part to help the team. Emma reached 100 career aces and 500 career kills this season, and reached 500 career digs before the end of last season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Rachel Buchanan – Westminster Christian</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>A three-year varsity starting libero reached a milestone of 1000 career digs earlier this month and now has 1069 career digs and counting.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Edie Ormsby – Cameron</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Edie recorded her 500th career assist this month and now has 738. Edie will likely reach two more milestones before the end of the season: 1000 career assists and 500 career digs, with only 150 more digs needed to reach 500.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
