Notables from Silver, Bronze Round of Louisville Invitational

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>All 24 teams sought two wins on Friday in pool to earn a spot in the Gold Bracket on Saturday. The 16 teams that did not make it to that round tried to earn three wins in the Silver and Bronze Brackets in the Louisville Invitational at the Kentucky Indiana Volleyball Academy. These players put up good displays in that round.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Indiana version of Floyd Central came across the river and bested Dominant Five members Notre Dame then Sacred Heart, 2-1 (25-20, 16-25, 26-24) in the Silver title game. Towner successfully executes slides down lines. Towner tools blocks and places overpassed balls away from opponents. Towner makes things happen when she has space away from the net. She makes the most of sets, consistently putting down balls over the net. Redlinger does not rush her shots, consistently finding different ways to better balls. She took numerous quality rips including line shots. Hamilton pounds down overpassed balls with authority. Hamilton takes things off her swings to send shots to open spots on the floor. Hamilton goes up for blocks then quickly sets up for an attack. Frazier sends good off shots to the back row and mixes in sound cut shots. Frazier comes in off fakes and sends balls to different zones. Belcher tools blocks and sends nice off shots to deep corners. Belcher has also developed solid cuts shots to the four zone with great velocity. Belcher has nice court vision.
