Hochevar possesses a nice wrist snap and good arm swing. Hochevar takes hard back row swings and takes hard line kills. Hochevar tools blocks and attacks seams with precision on go routes. Hochevar also makes nice first touches and is an aggressive server. Improved blocking is a good next step for Hochevar. Robertson puts across sound crosses and makes crisp two to three-point passes on defense. Her consistency on defense helps McEwen get into a sound offensive rhythm and is an aggressive server.
