PrepDig Adds Universal Speed Rating Testing to Exposure Tour
PrepDig is proud to announce a new partnership with Universal Speed Rating (USR) to bring standardized, third-party athletic testing to every stop on the PrepDig Exposure Tour in 2026.
This expanded partnership ensures that all measurements collected on the Exposure Tour will be administered and verified by Universal Speed Rating, creating consistent, objective performance data across the country. By implementing a single standardized testing protocol at every event, PrepDig and USR are eliminating regional variance and delivering a true national benchmark for athletic performance.
What's Being Tested
Every athlete on the Exposure Tour will go through a full slate of USR testing, including:
- Vertical Jump
- Broad Jump
- 5+10 Fly Sprint
- 5-10-5 Shuttle
These are athletic performance markers that translate directly to what shows up on the court: explosiveness, first-step quickness, and change-of-direction speed. Pairing that data with live scouting gives college coaches a fuller picture of who they're recruiting.
The National Leaderboard
Testing numbers won't just leave with you. Results from every showcase will feed into a national USR Leaderboard, giving athletes a way to see where they rank, not just against the field at their own event, but against athletes at PrepDig showcases across the country. All measurements will also post to each athlete's PrepDig profile, giving college coaches standardized, trustworthy data they can reference alongside film and evaluations.
USR's reach backs up the standard. The company has tested more than 100,000 athletes nationwide and works with over 200 Speed Lab performance partners across the country, making it one of the most established names in objective athletic testing.
A big piece of this partnership is what happens after the showcase. Athletes who test at a PrepDig event can connect with a USR Speed Lab near them for targeted training, then return to a future showcase to retest and track real, verified improvement. Testing becomes a development pathway, not just a one-time number.
What the Partners Are Saying
"This partnership with Universal Speed Rating dramatically impacts the value that we can create for our athletes and for athletes attending our events," said Nick Carroll, Chief Growth Officer and Co-Founder of Prep Network. "By using the same best-in-class testing at every PrepDig showcase, we are setting a true national standard that coaches, athletes, and families can trust, both for development and exposure."
"We're excited to work with PrepDig to raise the standard for how athletic performance is measured nationwide," said Drew Zwiers, Co-Founder of Universal Speed Rating. "When testing is verified and standardized, athletes gain clarity, coaches gain confidence, and the data truly matters. Through our nationwide Speed Lab network, athletes have a clear path to improve their numbers and return to retest under the same trusted system. Together with PrepDig, we are building a true national performance ecosystem for athletes in 2026 and beyond."
