The 2026 Beast of the East Tournament was another great display of some of the top volleyball teams from around the state.

What's almost as hard as winning the event, which was done so by Byron Center, is making the All-Tournament Team.

There's just 12 slots for 32 teams, so you have to really impress the make the list. Here's a look at who was selected for this year's BOE All-Tournament Team.

[player_tooltip player_id='587564' first='Lexi' last='Coleman'], So. OH South Lyon East

The sophomore has proven to be one of the top players in the nation, not just the state. Coleman was doing her usual thing of power the ball through blockers and leaving defenders stunned while helping East take their pool.

[player_tooltip player_id='839917' first='Sarah' last='Giroux'], Sr. OH Flat Rock

Giroux was up against some solid competition on Saturday, but last year's D2 Player of the Year held her own with the best of the best. She was making incredible plays on defense while hitting at a high rate against some of the state's top defensive teams.

[player_tooltip player_id='827359' first='Megan' last='Glass'], Sr. MH Hudsonville

Glass has established herself as one of the best finishers in the state, and she didn't disappoint on Saturday. Her length and athleticism were a problem for any team she ran up against, as the ball hit the floor within a flash of connecting with her hand.

[player_tooltip player_id='442982' first='Grace' last='Goodyke'], Sr. OH GR Christian

The Beast of the East runner-up was Grand Rapids Christian and Goodyke was a big reason why. She was locked in all day and looked extremely driven to lead the Eagles to success. All of her shots were dialed in, as she consistently had great power while mixing up locations.

[player_tooltip player_id='454351' first='Mallory' last='Johnson'], Sr. OH Byron Center

Johnson was the spark plug to get Byron Center to the Beast of the East title. Her defensive play is always elite, but she came through at the right time to provide a big kill or serve to swing the momentum of a match. Her energy and drive is infectious to the rest of the Bulldogs.

[player_tooltip player_id='470031' first='Avery' last='Kapeller'], Sr. OH OLSM

The Eaglets had a good showing on Saturday, reaching the quarterfinals despite being without key pieces. That's due to Kapeller being on top of her game. She drew a lot of defensive attention, but it didn't keep her from putting the ball away and being able to carry the offensive load for OLSM.

[player_tooltip player_id='644142' first='Ava' last='Kiernan'], Jr. S South Lyon East

One of just two non-hitters to make the squad, Kiernan plays the position with such ease and finesse. She's got a great hitter to work with, but still does a great job of keeping the defense guessing. Kiernan is always a threat to turn on the ball, but also knows the right time to attack the middle or the right side.

[player_tooltip player_id='454371' first='Riley' last='Loehfelm'], Sr. OH FH Northern

Saturday was a great showing for one of the Miss Volleyball finalists, as she was as competitive as anyone on the court. The Huskies reached the semifinals and had some marquee wins, turning to Loehfelm to put the ball away in those key closing points. She was very clutch in the big sets.

[player_tooltip player_id='436889' first='Sophia' last='Smith'], Sr. RS Marian

The Mustangs have been rolling lately. While Saturday ended earlier than they would like, Smith was still a dominant force throughout the day. Her play at the net is hard to match, both in her attacks and her blocking ability. But, her defensive play and serving make her a complete player.

[player_tooltip player_id='454358' first='Lily' last='Tripi'], Sr. S Eisenhower

Eisenhower reached the quarterfinals on Saturday and had some notable wins. Tripi has a great pool of hitters to work with, but they are great hitters because she brings the best out of them. You won't find many setters with more control and composure at the position. She makes difficult sets look easy and has Eisenhower as a title contender.

[player_tooltip player_id='732306' first='Reese' last='Williams'], Jr. OH Roscommon

The Division 3 Bucks were one of the real bright spots on the day, as they reached the quarterfinals and proved they can hang with the best in any division. Williams was all over the court, making plays in all phases of the game. The ball really flies off her hand and she knew when she had to deliver in a pressure moment.

[player_tooltip player_id='462086' first='Mallory' last='Woiteshek'], Sr. OH Grand Haven

Woiteshek was getting a chance to go toe-to-toe with a lot of great hitters and she showed why she is in discussion for one of the very best. The Miss Volleyball finalist doesn't need much to deliver a devastating attack, as her mechanics and ability to generate power are nearly unmatched. At 6'3”, her blocking ability creates a lot of problems for opponents.
