Our last lookahead to this weekend's district tournaments comes in D4.

There are a lot of brackets that look truly up for grabs, while some of the powers should work their way through to regional play.

Here's our predictions for all 32 district brackets in D4.

District 97 at Ewen-Trout Creek

Teams: Wakefield-Marenisco, Watersmeet, Ontonagon, Bessemer, Ewen-Trout Creek

Prediction: Trout Creek and Ontonagon have had some really close matches this season. It could go either way, so I give the edge to the home team in Trout Creek.

District 98 at Baraga

Teams: Calumet Copper Island Academy, Dollar Bay, Baraga, L'Anse, Lake Linden-Hubbell, Chassell, Hancock

Prediction: It's a deep district, but Hancock has the be the favorite on paper. [player_tooltip player_id='942021' first='Azura' last='Aho'] is a well-rounded outside that can help push the Bulldogs to the hardware.

District 99 at Felch North Dickinson

Teams: Powers North Central, Carney-Nadeau, Hannahville Nah Tah Wahsh, Stephenson, Felch North Dickinson, Crystal Falls Forest Park

Prediction: Forest Park knows how to step up its game this time of year, and I like the Trojans to collect another district title with [player_tooltip player_id='765308' first='Evie' last='Anderson'] and [player_tooltip player_id='765310' first='Harper' last='Anderson'] leading the way.

District 100 at Ishpeming

Teams: Rapid River, Cooks Big Bay de Noc, Eben Junction Superior Central, Rock Mid Peninsula, Ishpeming, Munising

Prediction: Munising and Ishpeming played a thrilling five-setter this season and could make up the district final. I give the edge to Ishpeming on its home court.

District 101 at St. Ignace

Teams: St. Ignace, Engadine, Mackinaw City, Mackinac Island

Prediction: St. Ignace has a bracket that can play into its favor at home. I am going to go with the Saints to pick up the two wins needed for the district title.

District 102 at Brimley

Teams: Cedarville, Brimley, Newberry, Pickford

Prediction: In this four-team bracket, Newberry has had the most success against the rest of the field. I'll pick for that trend to continue.

District 103 at Harbor Light Christian

Teams: Burt Lake Northern Michigan Christian, Alanson, Harbor Light Christian, Pellston

Prediction: This district should come down to NMC and Harbor Light Christian. These two have been very evenly matched. I'll again side with the home team to take the district title.

District 104 at Hillman

Teams: Posen, Rogers City, Hillman, Onaway, Atlanta

Prediction: The Huskies have put together a very impressive record during the season. Now it is time for Atlanta to show what it can do against the rest of the state.

District 105 at Gaylord St. Mary

Teams: Gaylord St. Mary, Wolverine, East Jordan, Ellsworth, Boyne Falls

Prediction: This time of year it's about getting to work and chopping your way to wins. What better team to do that than the Boyne Falls Loggers.

District 106 at Central Lake

Teams: Lake Leelanau St. Mary, Leland, Suttons Bay, Central Lake, Bellaire

Prediction: There's some real district contenders here, but I think Bellaire might be getting overlooked in the state picture. The Eagles have won a lot this season and I think they win some more this week.

District 107 at Frankfort

Teams: Onekama, Bear Lake, Frankfort, Brethren

Prediction: It's a talented group of four here, but the Onekama Portagers are rolling. Delaney McCarthy is capable of taking over a match and could this week.

District 108 at Buckley

Teams: McBain NMC, Mesick, Buckley, Fife Lake Forest Area, Traverse City Christian

Prediction: This is a deep bracket with a lot of solid teams, but TC Christian is playing on another level right now. Look for the Sabres to prevail behind their balanced offense.

District 109 at Mio-Au Sable

Teams: Au Gres-Sims, Whittemore-Prescott, Hale, Fairview

Prediction: This bracket should be really tight. These opponents know each other well and previous meetings have come down to a few points. I'll go with Au-Gres Sims to prevail.

District 110 at Walkerville

Teams: Pentwater, Baldwin, Muskegon Heights Academy, Walkerville, Mason County Eastern, Muskegon Catholic Central

Prediction: It feels like Mason County Eastern and Muskegon Catholic Central could meet in the district final. It's a great matchup on paper that could go five sets. I'll go with MC Eastern.

District 111 at Vestaburg

Teams: Fruitport Calvary Christian, Marian, Vestaburg, Coleman, Mt. Pleasant Sacred Heart

Prediction: Sacred Heart knows what it takes to win this time of year and won't slip up this week. Nobody will be able to contain [player_tooltip player_id='833681' first='Karis' last='Terwilliger'].

District 112 at Merrill

Teams: Merrill, Bay City Academy, Bay City All Saints, Saginaw Arts & Sciences, Saginaw Nouvel, Midland Calvary Baptist

Prediction: Midland Calvary Baptist has strung together a lot of wins and the Kings are shaping up to be the team to beat in this bracket.

District 113 at Wyoming Tri-Unity Christian

Teams: Martin, Byron Center Zion Christian, Grand Rapids Wellspring Prep, Wyoming Tri-Unity Christian, Grand Rapids Sacred Heart, Kalamazoo Hacket Catholic Prep

Prediction: Hackett Prep has played a competitive schedule and that should pay off this week in a district that should provide a lot of close sets.

District 114 at St. Joseph Our Lady of the Lake

Teams: Lawrence, Covert, Eau Claire, Watervliet Grace Christian, St. Joseph Our Lady of the Lake, St. Joseph Michigan Lutheran

Prediction: St. Joseph Michigan Lutheran is a team flying a little under the radar right now, but is very much a contender. Look for the Titans to prevail in this bracket.

District 115 at Mendon

Teams: Marcellus, Athens, Burr Oak, Marcellus Howardsville Christian, Colon, Mendon

Prediction: The Hornets will be at home, which gives them an extra boost. [player_tooltip player_id='1023733' first='Lashell' last='Blair'] is a dynamic middle that will be tough for anyone to stop this week.

District 116 at Bellevue

Teams: Marshall Academy, Tekonsha, Climax-Scotts, Bellevue, Battle Creek St. Philip

Prediction: St. Philip is no stranger to postseason success and I expect to see more of it this season. [player_tooltip player_id='1019373' first='Addison' last='Dzwik'] is a great leader for the Fighting Tigers.

District 117 at Morrice

Teams: Portland St. Patrick, Ashley, Fowler, Webberville, Fulton, Morrice

Prediction: This is a district that seems very up for grabs, but I am going to go with the defending state champs, Fowler. The Eagles graduated a lot from last year, but still have a program toughness that should help it this week.

District 118 at East Jackson

Teams: Litchfield, East Jackson, Jackson Prep, Vandercook Lake, Jackson Christian, Concord

Prediction: This bracket shapes up nicely for the Yellowjackets. Junior hitter [player_tooltip player_id='732303' first='Annie' last='Saenz'] has been able to dominate often this year and I expect her to do that in this bracket.

District 119 at Camden-Frontier

Teams: North Adams-Jerome, Camden-Frontier, Hillsdale Will Carleton Academy, Waldron, Pittsford, Hillsdale Academy

Prediction: Hillsdale Academy can be a dangerous team this postseason. The Colts have a lot of balance and a strong defensive base led by senior [player_tooltip player_id='1019388' first='Malorie' last='Kate Apel']. I like them to move on.

District 120 at Petersburg Summerfield

Teams: Morenci, Petersburg Summerfield, Ann Arbor Rudolf Steiner, Britton Deerfield, Adrian Lenawee Christian

Prediction: Lenawee Christian has been at the top of the rankings for a lot of the season and the Cougars should keep rolling behind the play of senior setter [player_tooltip player_id='916067' first='Brynn' last='Davis'].

District 121 at Clarkston Everest Collegiate

Teams: Novi Christian Academy, West Bloomfield FJA, Ann Arbor Christian, Brighton Livingston Christian, Clarkston Everest Collegiate

Prediction: Everest Collegiate still has championship play built into the program, which should help it prevail this week, especially against an evenly-matched foe like Ann Arbor Christian.

District 122 at Inter-City Baptist

Teams: Taylor Trillium Academy, Melvindale Academy for Business & Tech, Riverview Gabriel Richard, Westland Hope Christian Academy, Inter-City Baptist, Lutheran Westland

Prediction: This is going to be a great district with a lot of tight matches. Inter-City Baptist made a solid run a year ago and it has the top player in [player_tooltip player_id='998001' first='Daneris' last='Gomez'].

District 123 at Southfield Christian

Teams: Southfield Christian, Southfield Manoogian, Farmington Hills Huda, Plymouth Ivywood, Detroit International Academy

Prediction: This whole district feels like it could go to anyone. The team that is able to put on the best serving and avoid unforced errors is likely to prevail. I will go with Farmington Hills Huda.

District 124 at Bloomfield Hills Sacred Heart

Teams: Bloomfield Hills Sacred Heart, Pontiac Academy for Excellence, Sterling Heights Parkway Christian, Auburn Hills Christian, Auburn Hills Oakland Christian

Prediction: Oakland Christian is a legitimate title contender in D4 and should be the team to beat this week behind the powerful hitting of [player_tooltip player_id='455952' first='Sofie' last='Williams'].

District 125 at Byron

Teams: Flint Beecher, Burton St. Thomas More Academy, Byron, Flint School for the Deaf, Flint Cultural Center Academy, Genesee Christian

Prediction: Genesee Christian has had some bumps in the road this season, but played a tough schedule that should have it ready to win this district.

District 126 at Marine City Cardinal Mooney

Teams: Dryden, Kimball New Life Christian, Marine City Cardinal Mooney, Chesterfield Austin Catholic, New Haven Merritt Academy

Prediction: The Cardinals get the home court and have had success against teams in this bracket. Sophomores Emily Coomes and Katelynn Coomes are a dynamic 1-2 punch to lead Cardinal Mooney.

District 127 at Deckerville

Teams: Kingston, Mayville, Peck, Carsonville-Port Sanilac, Deckerville

Prediction: The Eagles are at home this week and should be confident, as they grinded out wins against the other top teams in this district.

District 128 at Ubly

Teams: Caseville, Kinde North Huron, Owendale-Gagetown, Akron-Fairgrove Ubly

Prediction: Ubly is at home and playing well. The Tigers will be motivated for another long playoff run, led by dominant middle [player_tooltip player_id='611100' first='Waverly' last='Hagen'].

Our last lookahead to this weekend's district tournaments comes in D4.

There are a lot of brackets that look truly up for grabs, while some of the powers should work their way through to regional play. Here's our predictions for all 32 district brackets in D4. District 97 at Ewen-Trout Creek Teams: Wakefield-Marenisco, Watersmeet, Ontonagon, Bessemer, Ewen-Trout Creek Prediction: Trout Creek and Ontonagon have had some really close matches this season. It could go either way, so I give the edge to the home team in Trout Creek. District 98 at Baraga Teams: Calumet Copper Island Academy, Dollar Bay, Baraga, L'Anse, Lake Linden-Hubbell, Chassell, Hancock Prediction: It's a deep district, but Hancock has the be the favorite on paper.
