2028s On The Rise

All of our rankings are being updated within the next two weeks. 2029 is up next but 2028 is after that and in this article we are looking at some players who are going to moving up in our next update. Dom had impressed me with her growth this past school season. She is transitioning with some intentionality and that helped the team's offense out. Offensively, her power is coming along and she is widening her attack range. Defensively she is an issue for opposing hitters. She is athletic and has a heck of a press at the top of her block.

[player_tooltip player_id='739951' first='Kaylin' last='Cook']- Setter for OCS. We undershot her ranking in the initial set of 2028 rankings. She has absolutely put in the work over the past couple years to hone both her skills and develop her overall athleticism. Something that also stuck out to me was the development of her serve. She is a well rounded setter that will continue to push forward.

[player_tooltip player_id='899674' first='Camila' last='Garcia']- Defensive Specialist for MSM. We have gotten to see Camila multiple times of the last 365 and it is awesome to see her love for her team, her growth and for the game of volleyball. Her growth was on full display in her route to becoming a state champ! She was a critical part of the Rocket back row that helped stifle opponents all along the way. Colleges should put her on their radar if she isn't already.

[player_tooltip player_id='1012875' first='Karsyn' last='Klaassen']- Outside Hitter for Weatherford. There is no doubt that the Eagles wouldn't have the success they have had over the past two years without Karsyn. She has been a steady presence for them. Her fast approach allows her to really get some pop on the ball. Don't let her size fool you, she is an athlete through and through and plays bigger than she looks.

[player_tooltip player_id='800090' first='Christina' last='Kunnath']- Defensive Specialist for Bishop McGuinness. Christina continues to climb the charts and deservedly so. Her pursuit in the back row is incredible. She makes very quick decisions in transitions and gets her platform to the ball to make tough plays look easy.

A few clarifications regarding rankings. We don't use Maxpreps as a barometer due to the lack of schools in Oklahoma who input data there. Growth is relative to those in the players class, keep in mind all players are liking growing and getting better each season. So growth doesn't automatically mean someone will move up. Lastly, stats during a single match that are head to head to other players aren't reliable either. There are too many factors that need to be taken into consideration.

If you are a player that hasn't added your profile or updated it, please do so asap so we can continue to connect your profile to our articles and rankings.
