PREP DIG PURSUIT: Making Their Move

The Prep Dig Pursuit is all about finding the players starting to make their move! These are athletes catching our attention through their growth, work ethic, versatility, and potential. Each player has a word that fits what stands out most about their game, and these three are certainly names we want to keep on the radar!

[player_tooltip player_id='887384' first='Avery' last='Friedly'], HIGH POTENTIAL

Friedly is a big presence who is starting to pop up on our radar! She can make an impact on both sides of the net, giving Fossil Ridge a strong option up front. At the net, she brings the size and ability to challenge attackers while also finding ways to finish offensively. That two-way threat makes her especially intriguing to watch. Additionally, Friedly continues to show that she can impact a match in more than one way. Her blocking presence can change what hitters see, while her attacking ability gives her team another option when the ball comes her way. With plenty of tools to build on, Friedly is a player with high potential to keep an eye on

[player_tooltip player_id='748921' first='Joslyn' last='Pedroso'], RELENTLESS

Pedroso brings a relentless energy that is hard to miss! She is constantly working to make plays and put herself in position to help her team. Even when the play does not go exactly as planned, she keeps pushing and stays involved. Her effort also creates opportunities for the players around her. Pedroso can draw attention and open space for her hitters to make their own plays. On top of that, her grit and consistency continue to make her a player worth following. She is putting in the work, and that is exactly what makes her stand out in the Prep Dig Pursuit!

[player_tooltip player_id='531401' first='Tatum' last='Comer'], DEDICATED

Comer is showing what dedication looks like as she works her way back from an ACL injury. While her recovery is part of her current journey, it certainly does not define her game. Instead, she continues to focus on getting stronger and preparing for her return to the court. Comer already brings plenty of defensive ability and has experience playing both indoor and outdoor volleyball. That versatility gives her another layer as an athlete. Meanwhile, her commitment to the recovery process shows how much she wants to keep growing. Watching an athlete put in that kind of work is exciting, and we are looking forward to seeing Comer continue building toward her comeback!

Making Their Move

The Prep Dig Pursuit is about more than one big performance.
