She brings an explosive presence at the net and shows a real eagerness to earn more reps and keep improving. That drive to develop makes her especially exciting to follow. On top of that, Moore can bring the same strength to the right side. Her versatility gives her more than one way to impact a match, while her attacking ability makes her a consistent threat up front. With her combination of explosiveness and willingness to grow, Moore is a name we are excited to keep tracking this fall!

[player_tooltip player_id='1000210' first='Camila' last='Rivera Martinez'] | Defensive Specialist / Libero

[player_tooltip player_id='1000210' first='Camila' last='Rivera Martinez'] is the definition of a defender! She reads hitters and servers well, then reacts quickly to whatever comes her way. That awareness helps her stay prepared and make plays when the pressure is on. Additionally, her strong fundamentals stand out in the back row. She moves efficiently and maintains control through her defensive movements. As a result, she continues to pop up on our radar as a back-row standout. Rivera Martinez is showing that great defense takes more than quick reactions; it also takes smart reads, solid technique, and the ability to stay ready for the next ball!

[player_tooltip player_id='998070' first='Brooklyn' last='Nelson'] | Defensive Specialist / Libero

Nelson makes the routine plays look easy, and that consistency is a big part of what makes her fun to watch! She stays focused on her passing mechanics and works to give her team a reliable first contact. When the ball comes her way, she is ready to keep the rally moving. Meanwhile, Nelson covers ground with ease and stays composed in serve receive. Her attention to the fundamentals helps her keep plays under control instead of making things more complicated than they need to be. As she continues to gain experience, we are excited to see how her game develops and where her volleyball journey takes her!

[player_tooltip player_id='1001578' first='Gaby' last='Gurdgiev'] | Outside / Right Side

Gurdgiev brings serious firepower to the pin! She stays ready for the sets coming her way and finds ways to attack whether the offense is in system or scrambling to recover. That ability to adjust makes her an exciting hitter to follow. Just as importantly, Gurdgiev does a nice job reading the block and choosing her shot. When she sees an opportunity to work around the defense, she can make the adjustment. However, she can also use her quick arm to attack aggressively when the opening is there. Her consistency and volleyball IQ continue to stand out, making her a name worth keeping on the Stock Watch radar!

Falling Into Form

This month's Stock Watch Check-In features four athletes bringing different strengths to the court.
