The 2026 Prep Dig Exposure Tour hits Michigan on Sunday, Dec. 6. We've now added Universal Speed Testing as part of the event, which is open to 2027-2030 prospects. Get signed up for the event now and use promo code ET26DREW25OFF to get 25% off your registration.

The prep volleyball season is at its midway point and there has been a lot of great play thus far in the 2026 season.

As we look at the teams performing well, here's the names that are starting to emerge as top Player of the Year candidates in Division 4.

(Players listed in alphabetical order)

[player_tooltip player_id='765544' first='Josie' last='Anderson'], So. MH Forest Park

Up in the UP, Anderson is part of a talented Forest Park attack where a number of players can step up, but the sophomore middle has been the most consistent at putting the ball away. Her quick swing generates a lot of velocity and makes her incredibly difficult to dig up. What makes it scary for D4 teams is Anderson is only going to get better.

Chloe Bastian, Jr. L Hancock

The Bulldogs have a lot of contributors, especially on offense, but Bastian has played at a very high level in the back row. She's been very composed and steady in her play to keep the Hancock offense in-system. Bastian never looks like she's caught off guard and her reliability will be key over the next month.

[player_tooltip player_id='1023740' first='Promise' last='Bouwmeester'], Jr. S/RS TC Christian

Bouwmeester is lighting it up on the stat sheet in all phases of the game. She's just got a knack for making plays as she has solid kills numbers, but also is a primary setter with outstanding defensive skills. Bouwmeester is willing to do whatever is needed to propel her team to a win.

[player_tooltip player_id='916067' first='Brynn' last='Davis'], Sr. S Lenawee Christian

The Cougars are ranked No. 1 in Division 4 and their talented offense is run by Davis, who recently surpassed 2,000 career assists. Davis brings the leadership and setting execution to keep Lenawee Christian in the title mix the rest of the season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1019373' first='Addison' last='Dzwik'], Sr. S/RS BC St. Philip

The Fighting Tigers are once again in the mix for the Division 4 title and they have a lot of experienced talent on the roster. Dzwik does a little bit of everything as a setter/hitter combo option. She's getting great swings out of her hitters while also being able to consistently put the ball away and be a reliable defender for St. Philip.

[player_tooltip player_id='916077' first='Amelia' last='Elder'], Jr. OH Michigan Lutheran

Elder looks like a natural on the court. Movement and execution comes pretty easy for her. Her ability to make clean first contact and then transition into putting the ball away is impressive. She's racking up big kills numbers this fall for Michigan Lutheran and is one of the top competitors in Division 4.

[player_tooltip player_id='611100' first='Waverly' last='Hagen'], Sr. MH Ubly

Hagen was one of the top players in D4 last year and she's right in the Player of the Year mix again as a senior. Hagen has added more intensity to her game through stronger and more consistent attacks while remaining one of the top blocking forces in D4. Hagen has also improved on her serve and overall defensive play to be a more complete player.

Delaney McCarthy, Sr. OH Onekama

McCarthy is a threat from anywhere on the court, as she has great court vision and consistent power. She's able to put the ball away from the back row, while attacking the boundaries at the pin. McCarthy can get on a roll and be tough to slow down, which makes Onemaka a tough out come the postseason.

[player_tooltip player_id='833681' first='Karis' last='Terwilliger'], Sr. MH MP Sacred Heart

This is a tough choice on the Irish as Terwilliger and libero [player_tooltip player_id='847397' first='Bridget' last='Wiggins'] both play at a very high level. Terwilliger is one of the most dynamic players in Division 4. She's got a lot of explosiveness and great footwork at the net to help her push the Irish to compete with the best of the best. She's had some dominant stretches that make her stand out as a POY candidate.

[player_tooltip player_id='455952' first='Sofie' last='Williams'], Sr. OH Oakland Christian

Williams is one of the most powerful hitters in Division 4. The ball really flies off her hand and she's been consistent at putting the ball away as Oakland Christian has bounced around to other divisions during her prep career. Williams is technically sound and gets great forward momentum on her attacks.

Other Players In the Mix

[player_tooltip player_id='1019388' first='Malorie' last='Kate Apel'], Sr. DS/L Hillsdale Academy; [player_tooltip player_id='1023733' first='Lashell' last='Blair'], So. MH Mendon; [player_tooltip player_id='998001' first='Daneris' last='Gomez'], Jr. MH Inter-City Baptist; [player_tooltip player_id='1019386' first='Alexa' last='Harvey'], Sr. DS/L GR Sacred Heart; Sloane Hasler, So. DS/L Riverview Richard; [player_tooltip player_id='1021966' first='Jylisia' last='Larsen'], Jr. DS/L Atlanta; [player_tooltip player_id='1019383' first='Bradie' last='Lehman'], Sr. S/RS Concord; [player_tooltip player_id='1043325' first='Vivian' last='McLoughlin'], Fr. OH St. Joseph OLL; Dalaney Steinbrecher, Sr. DS/L North Dickinson; [player_tooltip player_id='884932' first='Lucy' last='Young'], Jr. MH Kalamazoo Hackett
