The Bloodhounds made it very clear that they're coming into the postseason ready to battle. Fort Madison did their thing and shut down Keokuk in a quick 3 sets. Shoutout goes to Jordyn Grisham for running her offense beautifully and leaving little to no room for error. The consistency that came with her ball placement, her ability to make the tough sets, and the way she read her opponents was spectacular. Grisham definitely set her team up for success last night. The Bloodhounds will be traveling to face #2-ranked Assumption in the semifinals on Thursday.

I was excited to see this matchup, especially since they are both in the same conference. Even though Clinton had taken a fairly easy win over Central Dewitt recently, I knew that the Sabers were going to bounce right back. Although they weren't able to take a win over Clinton, they still managed to fight tooth and nail until the very end, falling just short in 5, and Clinton came away with another win over Central Dewitt (28-26, 25-23, 24-26, 24-26, 15-10). The River Queens will be heading to Wahlert Catholic on Thursday to try and earn a spot in the finals.
