Top 50 Breakdown of the 2027 National Recruiting Class Rankings
Here is the full breakdown of the Top 50 Recruiting Classes from the Class of 2027. These are athletes that are only in the Top 200 of the Class of 2027 National Rankings. Do these classes potentially have more commits? Yes. Here is a little peak behind the curtain of the Prep Dig Recruiting Class Rankings.
Is There a Mathematical Formula?
We get feedback from coaches across the country as well as our team of scouts. We go from a large database into the top 200 in the Class of 2027 and then start organizing based on their college commitment. We will use a formula to start ranking classes, but then we do have an human eye when it comes to actually ranking the classes. This is not made from an AI code :)
What About The Average Rank of the Recruit?
Nope. Could we? Sure. But does having three athletes in the top 50 and then one at 175 truly give a the scope of how the class will be? Not really. We could go through all the different types of data sets, but at the end of the day it is taking a look at each class and the potential impact they could have at the next level.
Is This Subjective?
Absolutely. We could draw this up ten ways and all of them would be different (and even more). What we do know is that we have multiple yes from various parts of the country that is looking at them at the high school, club, and take note of what these athletes are doing at NTDP and international play.
