Admire set a career high in blocks, saving her best blocking performance of the season for the quarterfinal. In her first full season with the Dragons, the 2029 middle has 185 kills and 113 total blocks.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Mizzi Tharp — Liberty</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>In her first sectional match, Tharp showed the toughness and grit that helped Liberty reach the Final Four. The 2030 pin finished with 16 kills and 20 digs, delivering a strong all-around performance for the Eagles.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Keira Melendy — Woodland</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Melendy helped Woodland reach the Final Four with 18 kills, seven blocks, and nine digs, coming close to an impressive triple-double in her first sectional match. The 2030 standout has totaled 358 kills this season while hitting .338, along with 91 blocks and 263 digs.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Kinley Lair — Rock Port</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The 6-foot-1 middle played efficiently, recording 11 kills on 17 attempts with just one error to hit .588. Lair's emergence has been a big part of Rock Port's success. She has recorded at least 11 kills in six straight matches while hitting .448 over that stretch.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Myia Dillman — Mid-Buchanan</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Dillman helped the Dragons reach new heights with 53 assists and 10 digs, recording a double-double. She is closing in on 2,000 career assists and has more than 800 career digs. Dillman also had 50 assists in Mid-Buchanan's five-set sectional win over Bishop LeBlond.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Gabi Gaumer — New Covenant</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Gaumer is hitting her stride at the right time. In New Covenant's quarterfinal sweep of Cole Camp, she had six blocks and six kills while hitting .385. She ranks second on the team in hitting percentage at .297, leads the team with 86 blocks and is fourth in kills with 149. Gaumer has recorded 18 blocks across four playoff matches.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Nicole Grellner — Linn</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Grellner's all-around play has been central to Linn's successful season. In the five-set loss to Liberty, she recorded a triple-double with 17 kills while hitting .341, 20 digs, and 31 assists.
