She has excellent court awareness, sees the open spots in the defense, and isn't afraid to get aggressive by pushing the ball over on the first or second contact to catch opponents off guard. Her ability to recognize opportunities and make quick decisions has paid off all season. Morken is averaging an impressive 2.9 kills per set while also recording 31 aces and 216 digs. Those are some solid numbers for any varsity player, let alone an eighth grader. She is already making a significant impact for Spring Grove, and with plenty of volleyball still ahead of her, Morken is definitely a young talent coaches should have on their radar.

Henrikson is a fun outside hitter to watch, and she will definitely be one to keep tabs on in the semifinals. She is a dynamic attacker who can score in a variety of ways, whether she is taking a big swing, attacking out of system, mixing in an off speed shot, or running routes into the middle. She has great versatility in her attack and knows how to make defenses pay when they lose track of her. What makes her especially dangerous is her ability to adjust to different sets and still find ways to terminate the ball. Expect her to be a major offensive weapon as BOLD continues its postseason run.

Sudbeck is a powerful right side pin hitter who brings a strong offensive presence to the court. Sudbeck is also a solid presence at the net, putting up a strong block and making it difficult for opposing hitters to find their way through. Offensively, she is just as effective, using her reach and athleticism to get her hands on nearly every ball sent her way. What stands out is her ability to make something happen even when the transition isn't ideal. She adjusts well to the ball, finds ways to stay aggressive, and can still put it down even when she doesn't get the perfect approach. Reinbold will be a key player to watch on Wednesday as her team battles top seeded Border West, where her presence at the net could make a big difference.

Quam does a little bit of everything for Kenyon-Wanamingo, and she does it all at a high level. She is the team's leading attacker, averaging an impressive 3.4 kills per set while hitting a solid .284. But her impact goes well beyond the front row. Quam is just as valuable defensively, recording 315 digs, averaging 4.0 digs per set, along with 31 aces and 241 serve receptions. She is a true all around player who can make an impact in just about every aspect of the game. That kind of court awareness, skill set, and versatility is not something you see every day, especially in a young player. We look for her to be standout in section 1A as the playoffs continue.
