More Setter Standouts from GJNC Showcase Session 2

The past article presented talented setters with different styles of play who are equally successful at their craft. These three athletes also earned a spot in my scouting notebook as standouts and should be on everyone's radar. Quick hands with a consistently high contact point, allowing her to deliver a clean, repeatable release. I really like her one-foot pivot on medium passes to the pin, helping her maintain tempo without sacrificing ball location. Comfortable jump setting and does an excellent job running different systems. Her adaptability was also displayed in tight passes, where she showed that her height did not limit her ability to not just keep the ball in play, but to make emergency situations look like routine in-system plays. Her mind seemed to always be processing the game one play ahead, which created opportunities to anticipate and make good decisions. The ball barely spins out of her hands, especially in perfect and good passes.
