Prep Dig Chris Complete Coverage From USAV Nationals
Six days in Indianapolis is not for the weak. I know there are plenty of club directors, coaches, and parents who have claimed Indianapolis and Orlando as their temporary home this time of year and where else would you rather be? Indianapolis for me really was an adventure, and as nationals should be a celebration of the season.
I was able to see teams I've followed all year compete and win at the highest level. I saw the growth of teams from when I saw them in January to the end of June where its hard to imagine where they were at the beginning of the season. There were tears in all forms from happy to sad, everything in between. I write about the skills of these athletes, but there is so much more to their stories. Those long car rides, extra reps, the days you didn't feel you're best but you persevered have all paid off. Congratulations on a great season.
