About Holly

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I'm a fast paced, team first setter who enjoys running a balanced offense and making smart decisions that put my hitters in the best position to succeed. I pride myself on communicating well, staying composed under pressure, competing on every point and finding ways to make everyone around me better. I'm always looking to improve my IQ and become a more complete player.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I'm a competitive, well rounded athlete who has competed at a high level in multiple sports including national level softball before focusing solely on volleyball. Those experiences taught me how to compete under pressure, adapt to challenges and embrace hard work. I bring a team first mindset, strong work ethic and a desire to keep getting better every day.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Balancing two elite sports while maintaining academics has been one of my greatest challenges and one of my greatest strengths. Competing in national level softball while training year round in volleyball requires discipline, organization, sacrifice and a commitment to recovery. I learned early that performing at a high level isn't just about talent, it's about taking care of your body too.

What type of college are you looking for?

As a Class of 2029 athlete, I'm keeping an open mind as I learn more about the college recruiting process. I'm looking forward to finding a school that's a good fit academically, athletically and personally. Building relationships with coaches and learning about different programs will help me determine where I'll be the best fit.
