My high school team coincidentally played Mayville three times this year and this team was so physical and athletic.  Their setter, who I was shocked was only a sophomore, has the ability to do some special things.  Neva Mittelstadt Neva Mittelstadt 5'11" | S/RS Mayville | 2029 WI has length and athleticism,  she is someone who can run the show and knows how to feed the middles.  Mayville is 24-7 and will be one to watch in the post season. Mittelstadt commands the court with maturity and can score on her own from behind the service line and if the opportunity presents itself on the second contact.

Mayville is going to win a lot of matches this season.  They have plenty of offensive weapons, but Neva Middlestadt is the orchestrator of it all.  The sophomore has led the Cardinals to a 6-1 start.  She is averaging nearly six assists per set and is leading her team in aces as well.  Another sophomore on the squad who is putting points on the board is Brielle Ehlers Brielle Ehlers 6'2" | MB Mayville | 2029 WI who is averaging 2.4 kills per set and hitting .412.
