She is 5’3″ and she ran the offense at the Up Next San Antonio Showcase with a confidence and precision that made the height question irrelevant before the first set of the scrimmage was over. Her release was consistent and she delivered the ball with shape and location rather than just getting it to the general area her hitters were standing. The trust she built with players she had just met happened fast because the sets were predictably good and hitters respond to that quickly. She led quietly but clearly throughout the day and the players around her were more settled because of it. Please help us congratulate her on earning a Top Performer award for this showcase.

Aria Polanco, a speedy setter/ds from San Antonio. She does a great job getting her feet around the ball before putting her hands up. Her set is smooth and consistent across the net, easy for hitters to connect with. As she develops in her role on the court, she brings high energy and intentional focus to what is being taught on the court. Her ability to make quick adjustments to the play and deliver a clean, hittable ball to keep the play progressing.
