Determined Defenders at the Stock Up Showcase

Each had similar and different strengths that complemented the players around them. Coaches at the Showcase were impressed with the future Lake Stevens players' angles and passing performance in serve receive. Robbins understands the tilt she needs on her platform when she handles serves outside her body- sending the ball forward rather than straight up or behind her. It caused problems for the opposing passers and had the team out of system during the six-on-six portion of the Showcase. The 2029 from Eisenhower High School in Yakima plays with strong hands and hustles to cover every attack from her hitters. Lea stays disciplined in her positioning, both in where she needs to be on the court and in her athletic stance.
