Shelby Elms is one of 4A’s most productive attackers, putting up 184 kills and averaging an impressive 4.4 kills per set. Elms is having a phenomenal senior season, and the work she put in during the offseason is clearly showing on the court. She is a key piece of her team’s serve receive, helping anchor the back row while also putting up big numbers offensively. Elms brings athleticism and a high vertical to the floor, and her presence elevates the level of play around her.

Shelby Elms was named the Centennial League Player of the Year last season and looks to bring the same energy and athleticism to the court this fall. Elms is a player college coaches should have on their radar, as her athleticism and versatility give her the potential to be an asset at the next level. On the pin, she brings a different look with a wide range of shots and a high volleyball IQ that allows her to find ways to score. Defensively, Elms is too valuable to take off the court, as she is a relentless defender who anchors serve receive and consistently keeps rallies alive.
