Class of 2029: Sophomores Having Standout Seasons

Pyne stands out as a major blocking presence and does a great job positioning herself at the net to take away space from opposing attackers. Offensively, she works hard in transition to consistently make herself available and give herself opportunities to score. Ludlam connects well with her hitters and does a great job distributing the ball efficiently to keep the offense balanced. She plays with a level of poise and confidence beyond her years and looks comfortable taking control of the offense in big moments. Although Yoder is still young, she has shown the ability to compete at a high level and bring energy whenever her number is called. She works hard in transition, stays engaged throughout rallies, and finds ways to contribute on both sides of the ball. Rodriguez has been highly efficient on the pin and does a great job finding creative ways to score, whether that is taking a big swing or finding open space in the defense. She brings a high energy presence to the court and competes hard on every point. McGill is a massive blocking presence at the net and does a great job getting out to close the block on the pins. Offensively, she can attack in both directions and brings a powerful arm swing that makes her difficult to slow down.
