September is bringing plenty of movement across Colorado volleyball, and that means new names are starting to make their way onto our radar.

The Stock Watch is all about those players who are giving us more reasons to keep watching. Maybe their consistency is standing out. Maybe they are making an early impact at the high school level. Or, in some cases, we are starting to see pieces of their game come together that could make them even more impactful down the road.

This month, three players are trending up for very different reasons. Each one is giving us something to watch as the season continues.

McCormick is a young player who continues to give us more reasons to keep her on the radar. She brings a lot of heart to the court, and that effort is becoming easier to notice every time we see her play. One of the biggest things standing out is her consistency. McCormick does not simply wait for the ball to come her way. Instead, she is constantly working toward contact and putting herself in position to make the next play. That kind of movement matters, especially for a young defensive player who is still learning the game. Her platform is another piece of her game that continues to develop. McCormick works to control her first contact and get the ball toward her target. Just as importantly, she is already showing an understanding of where she needs to be before the ball gets there. For a player this young, that consistency is exciting. She already has a strong foundation, and more experience should only help those skills become sharper. McCormick is a name we expect to keep seeing more of as she continues to grow. Trending up, and just getting started!

Dahlke is making her mark early in her high school career, and her freshman campaign is giving us plenty of reason to pay attention. The Class of 2030 standout has already put together 78 digs, 11 blocks, and 84 kills this season. Those numbers show the kind of impact she is having across multiple areas of the game. Rather than being limited to one part of the stat sheet, Dahlke is finding ways to contribute throughout the match. Her early production is especially notable because she is doing it as a freshman. High school volleyball can move quickly, but Dahlke is already finding ways to stay involved and make an impact. That gives us plenty to follow as the season continues. There is also plenty of room for her game to keep developing. With more matches, more experience, and more opportunities to see different teams and defensive looks, Dahlke should continue learning what works best for her. Right now, the production is there, the impact is there, and the season is still young. Keep Dahlke on your radar!

Dawson is another young player who has caught our attention with her feel for the game. The Class of 2031 outside/right side has the tools to create opportunities from either pin, giving her plenty of room to grow into a versatile offensive player. Her arm is one of the first things that stands out. Dawson can generate plenty of pace, and that heavy arm gives her an offensive foundation to build around as she continues developing. At the same time, there are still pieces of her game that we are excited to watch come together. Her approach and arm mechanics will continue to develop with experience, and those improvements can make an already intriguing offensive game even more effective. That is part of what makes Dawson so fun to follow at this stage. She already has natural tools and a strong feel for the game, but there is still plenty of volleyball ahead of her. As those details continue to sharpen, we expect Dawson to become an even stronger player. For now, she is firmly on our Stock Watch radar!

September Stock Watch

These three players are trending up for different reasons, and that is exactly what makes the Stock Watch fun to follow.

McCormick is showing consistency and defensive instincts at a young age. Dahlkee is already making an impact during her first high school season. Dawson has the offensive tools and feel for the game that give us plenty to watch as she develops.

September is only part of the season, too. There is still plenty of volleyball left, which means plenty of opportunities for these players to keep building, competing, and giving us new reasons to write their names down.
