Morris delivers first contacts on defense and serve receive with consistency, taking minimal steps to balls. On offense, Morris takes nice four-step attack approaches and uses her sound vertical jump and high attack point to deliver solid line swings.

Barber has emerged this season, helping bring the Tigers balance. Barber takes nice swings to the back row on go routes. Barber makes a lot of things happen when she has good spacing away from the net. Barber tips balls over double blocks and puts over quality out of system shots. Barber takes a nice net approach then takes her time to get on top of balls to put great power into them.

Battaile goes up strong and aggressively attacks balls at the net with her blocking. One can't go soft on her. Battaile is reliable when balls are out of system. Battaile takes sharp swings to the back row and mixes in nice off shots. Battaile tools blocks and uses a nice vertical to get on top of balls and hit around blocks with her high attack point. Battaile is not afraid to rainbow balls to corners when they are open.

Wolf (pictured) has picked things up a couple notches for the Thoroughbreds this season. Wolf delivers nice out of system swings for NewCath and pounds balls hard down lines. Wolf mixes in nice tips to the shallow six zones. Wolf delivers tough crosses and off shots to different zones and tools blocks. Wolf uses her nice size and high attack point to hit over double blocks.

Hayes is a nice option at the pins for the Warriors. Hayes rips hard balls on go routes to different zones. Hayes is especially tough on line shots. Hayes tools blocks and has a nice vertical jump to hit over and around double blocks. Hayes can effectively send off shots into seams to record big kills.

Note from Writer

Mike Graham has been writing for Prep Dig for two years and has enjoyed getting to know the volleyball scenes in Kentucky, Ohio and Tennessee.
