College coaches still looking to fill spots in their 2027 recruiting class should pay attention to the seniors still available. These players have spent years competing at the high school and club levels, and many have taken on important roles for their teams. They've been tested in tough matches, learned how to handle pressure, and gained the experience that comes with playing against strong competition.

At this point in the recruiting process, it's not always about finding a player who needs several years to develop. Sometimes it's about finding someone who can come in, compete, and help your program. Whether it's an outside hitter who can handle a heavy offensive load, a defender who takes care of serve receive, or a setter who knows how to run an offense, talented seniors still have plenty to offer.

[player_tooltip player_id='492595' first='Ashley' last='Panichi'] is the type of six-rotation wing player college coaches love because she eliminates the need for a defensive substitution. In serve-receive, she holds down a wide zone with a calm, repeatable platform, taking pace off hard serves and putting her setter in position to run the middle. Front-row, she approaches hard on every play and hits with high extension, giving her the range to wipe off hands or score deep into the corners. Panichi's ability to stay on the floor for all six rotations makes her an instant depth upgrade for programs needing complete ball control and scoring. ~Theresa@prepdigdakotas

[player_tooltip player_id='752324' first='Paylin' last='Sether'] is back on the court after an injury, and I really like what I'm seeing. She hasn't lost that competitive edge, and she's showing good movement and elevation when attacking at the net. What stands out to me is that she's not just relying on her arm to score. She's seeing the court, recognizing what's available, and making smart decisions with the ball. Defensively, I like how she reads hitters and gets into position before the attack develops. Paylin's determination is clear right now, and you can tell she's excited to be back doing what she loves. For college coaches still evaluating their 2027 recruiting class, she's a player I'd encourage you to revisit. ~Theresa@prepdigdakotas

[player_tooltip player_id='584678' first='Carly' last='Muhl'] is an outside hitter who can make something happen even when the play doesn't go as planned. I really like how she handles those out-of-system balls that aren't always easy to attack. She has a quick arm swing and uses her wrist well to change the ball's direction, whether she's working around the block or finding a sharp cross-court angle. Carly also works to get back into an attacking position after playing defense. She doesn't stand around waiting for the perfect set. She gets off the net, makes herself available, and finds ways to keep pressure on the other team. That ability to adjust while staying an offensive threat is something I really like about her game. For college coaches looking for a 2027 pin who can help when things get messy, Carly is worth a closer look. ~Theresa@prepdigdakotas

[player_tooltip player_id='584629' first='Braelyn' last='Hendrickson'] brings the lateral footwork and quick pin-to-pin closure that college blocking schemes demand. She reads opponent setters well, getting her hands over the tape early to seal the seam and take away primary hitting lanes. Offensively, Hendrickson runs fast 1-tempo quicks and slide routes, hitting off one foot with strong shoulder rotation to find open floor behind the block. Her efficiency as a middle decoy and her discipline as a blocker make her a high-value front-row asset for a collegiate system. ~Theresa@prepdigdakotas

[player_tooltip player_id='522730' first='Alexa' last='Guetzlaff'] brings versatility to the pin, and I like that she can play outside or right side depending on what her team needs. She's a physical attacker who can put pace behind the ball, especially when she drives it deep into the court or finds openings between defenders. Alexa isn't afraid to challenge a block, and she can make opposing defenses work to handle her swings. I also like what she brings defensively at the net. She gets her hands over the net, takes away the line, and forces hitters to adjust their shots. A player who can contribute offensively and defensively from both pins gives a team options, and college coaches should appreciate that about Alexa's game. She's a 2027 prospect worth keeping on the radar. ~Theresa@prepdigdakotas

[player_tooltip player_id='509855' first='Sydney' last='Kracht'] gives a program a formidable blocking and hitting weapon on the right pin. She sets up a massive block against the opponent's primary left-side attackers, effectively neutralizing heavy line swings and forcing hits back into the heart of her defense. Offensively, she handles back-set balls comfortably, using her height and reach to drive sharp angles down the line or push balls into the deep court corners. Kracht's defensive presence at the net alone makes her an immediate impact candidate for programs looking to toughen up their net defense. ~Theresa@prepdigdakotas
