Tucked away in southeastern Indiana, Madi has made a name for herself quite quickly in the last year or so. As a part-time defender last season, and now the full-time libero, Madi has a read-and-react that is above average and can turn what might be chaos into a continued play and an in-system pass. Left-back is her home base, where she has active feet when needed, and an ability to be around the ball exactly when the Bulldogs need her to be. To pull off the upset, Batesville is going to need each and every contact of hers to be spot-on—-just like they were against Evansville Mater Dei in a four-set win in the regional (32 digs!).
