Jaslyn brings a combination of defensive responsibility and serving pressure that makes her especially valuable. She has recorded more than 500 digs this season and has also produced more than 100 aces. That combination is important because it shows she can influence the match both before the opponent attacks and after the ball crosses the net.

Her experience at libero and setter adds another layer to her court awareness. She understands how the second contact needs to develop, which helps her recognize when a defensive play should prioritize a controlled pass and when she may need to step in and help organize the offense. That broader perspective is useful in broken rallies. Jaslyn gives Columbus a player who can stabilize the back row without limiting her contribution to one phase of the game. ~ Samantha Fitzgerald @BenchtoBeast_prepdigga
