Sailor brings an interesting combination of size and positional versatility to Calhoun. Her ability to contribute at both the middle and pin positions gives the coaching staff flexibility while exposing her to different responsibilities at the net. She has already found ways to contribute as an attacker and blocker, which is an encouraging starting point for a first-year varsity player.

Her development will come from sharpening the details of each position. At middle, that means improving her ability to read the setter, close blocking space and transition quickly into an attacking approach. On the pin, she will need to continue developing shot selection and approach discipline. The versatility is valuable, but becoming consistent in each role will determine how much more she can offer. ~ Samantha Fitzgerald @BenchtoBeast_prepdigga
