About Maddalyn
Expert Analysis
Amy VanGuilder | Prep Dig Scout
Madsen is a versatile pin hitter with a deep offensive toolbox that makes her a tough matchup for opposing defenses. She is comfortable attacking from both pins and has the ability to terminate even when her team is out of system. She does a great job mixing up her shots, whether she is taking a big swing, finding the seam, or using an off speed shot to exploit the open court. What also stands out is her impressive reach and range, allowing her to get a hand on nearly any ball sent her way and turn difficult sets into scoring opportunities.
