<p>The race for the 2020 Miss Volleyball winner is a competitive one.</p>
<p>The talented lot of 10 finalists are all having great 2020 seasons and giving voters a lot to think about. Let’s take a closer look at what the finalists have been doing this fall.</p>

<p><strong>Charli Atiemo, MH Farmington Hills Mercy: </strong>Atiemo has looked great for unbeaten Mercy in their efforts to make a run at another state title. She is second on the team in kills with 182 and also has 62 digs and 28 aces. Atiemo has shown an improved all-around game while taking her finishing ability up a notch.</p>
<p><strong>Callie Mae Bauer, OH/S Hudson: </strong>Hudson hasn’t been able to log as many matches as others, but Bauer is amassing a lot of numbers in her short time on the floor. Through 39 sets, she has 234 kills, 149 digs and 45 aces. She is hitting an impressive .401 on her attacks this year and averaging six kills per set.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="14163" first="Julia" last="Bishop"], S Farmington Hills Mercy: </strong>Bishop continues to shine and prove why she’s such a special talent. She has been the catalyst for Mercy being unbeaten and dropping just two sets all season. Bishop is really spreading the ball around and has 593 assists over 56 sets. She also has 84 kills, 107 digs and 46 aces. She’s the complete package for a setter.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="50288" first="Mikayla" last="Haut"], OH SMCC: </strong>Haut continues her consistent play as the backbone of the Kestrels, the defending D3 state champs. SMCC has looked strong with Haut leading the way with her all-around play. While no stats were available for the season, Haut is continually wracking up double digits in kills and digs per match and her serve remains one of the best in the state.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="14185" first="Aubrey" last="O’Gorman"], MH Lakewood: </strong>O’Gorman has been dominant at the net this fall for the Vikings. She has 189 kills while hitting .511, also adding 62 blocks. She is averaging 1.14 blocks per set. But, that’s not all for this middle. She also has 42 digs and 26 aces as she is showing her all-around athleticism.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="50295" first="Abby" last="Olin"], MH Coopersville: </strong>Coopersville has had some trouble getting on track, but Olin has certainly been doing her part. She has put down 255 kills with 99 digs, 30 aces and an impressive 70 blocks. Olin uses her size and athleticism to be impactful wherever she is on the floor.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="14188" first="Sydney" last="Palazzolo"], OH Utica Eisenhower: </strong>Eisenhower is showing it can compete in the Division 1 race this year and Palazzolo has been on top of her game. Through 46 sets, she has 273 kills, 169 digs, 36 aces and 22 blocks. She has been particularly effective when paired up against other top hitters. Palazzolo plays with a lot of calm and grace on the floor.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="14192" first="Jenna" last="Reitsma"], OH Lowell: </strong>Reitsma is picking up right where she left off last year. Through 72 sets, Reitsma has racked up 512 kills, 251 digs, 36 aces and 27 blocks for the Red Arrows. Playing a very competitive schedule, Reitsma continues to shine. She is quickly approaching her 2,000<sup>th</sup> career kill.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="50300" first="Anna" last="Smith"], OH Mendon: </strong>Smith continues to be a dominant force in Division 4 volleyball. She has the back-to-back state champs on a tear in 2020, dropping just one match this season to D3 North Muskegon. Recently, Smith amassed her 2,000<sup>th</sup>-career kill during a quad sweep of Battle Creek Pennfield, Athens and Harper Creek. She also put up 24 aces in a single match against Bloomingdale, which ties for second in MHSAA history for aces in a single match.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="14203" first="Addie" last="VanderWeide"], OH Grand Rapids Christian: </strong>The Eagles are unbeaten for 2020 as their powerful offense continues to overwhelm opponents. VanderWeide leads that pack, putting up 245 kills through 47 sets. She is adding 175 digs, 20 aces and 12 blocks. VanderWeide is showing great leadership and looking to put a cap on her tremendous career.</p>
