Prep Dig Kansas features five Top Performers At the Kansas Klassic

<p>Reigning champion McCracken County pulled away to defeat rival Paducah Tilghman 3-1 in the 2nd District Volleyball Tournament championship match at St. Mary High School on Thursday, Oct. 22. </p>
<p>Productive McCracken County won 25-17, 21-25, 25-17, 25-15.</p>
<p>McCracken County improved to 18-4 after notching the win.</p>
<p>Following the loss, Paducah Tilghman dropped to 7-6.</p>
<p>Both McCracken County and Paducah Tilghman advance to the 1st Region Volleyball Tournament.</p>
<p>Each team featured multiple top performers during the 2nd District Volleyball Tournament title match, some of whom are among the most talented players in the state.</p>
<p>The top performers for McCracken County were Caroline Sivills (11 kills, 2 blocks, 1 dig), Drew Mullinax (9 kills, 2 blocks, 1 assist, 12 digs, 2 service aces), Jayda Harris (9 kills, 2 blocks), Adele Mavigliano (7 kills, blocks, 1 service ace), Piper Mullinax (34 assists, 12 digs, 4 service aces) and Patti Wilson (12 digs, 1 assist, 2 service aces). </p>
<p>The top performers for Paducah Tilghman were [player_tooltip player_id="68132" first="Emily" last="Shumaker"] (10 kills, 1 block, 2 assists, 2 digs, 3 service aces), Bailey Schipp (6 kills, 8 digs, 1 service ace), Jaaliyah Biggers (4 kills, 3 blocks, 1 dig), Lexi Roof (1 kill, 7 assists, 13 digs, 1 service ace), Natalie Lansden (1 kill, 2 blocks, 12 assists, 5 digs, 2 service aces) and Jennifer Goddard (8 digs, 3 service aces). </p>
<p>McCracken County defeated Paducah Tilghman for the second time in the 2020 high school volleyball season. In a 2nd District volleyball match on September 24, McCracken County blanked Paducah Tilghman 3-0 (25-13, 25-21, 25-18).</p>
