Closer Look: KVCA Region Players of the Year

<p>The Kentucky Volleyball Coaches Association (KVCA) has announced its region players of the year for the 2020 season. </p> <p>Here’s a closer look at the KVCA region players of the year.</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="68123" first="Isabella" last="Myers"] (Region 1 Player of the Year):</strong> A Ballard Memorial junior setter/outside hitter, Myers has recorded 326 kills, 29 blocks, 246 assists, 240 digs and 66 service aces in 24 matches. </p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="68073" first="Olivia" last="Mitchell"] (Region 2 Player of the Year):</strong> A Caldwell County senior outside hitter, Mitchell has logged 370 kills, 12 blocks, 203 digs and 20 service aces in 21 matches. </p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="104515" first="Audrey" last="Whitworth"] (Region 3 Player of the Year):</strong> A Breckinridge County outside hitter/libero, Whitworth has compiled 163 kills, 12 blocks, 274 digs and 38 service aces in 18 matches. </p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="68078" first="Katie" last="Howard"] (Region 4 Player of the Year):</strong> A Greenwood senior outside hitter, Howard has tallied 182 kills, 23 blocks, 15 assists, 122 digs and 27 service aces in 13 matches. </p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="68068" first="Kelsey" last="Brangers"] (Region 5 Player of the Year):</strong> A Central Hardin senior libero, Brangers has amassed 393 digs, 83 assists and 53 service aces in 22 matches. </p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="68067" first="Elena" last="Scott"] (Region 6 Player of the Year):</strong> A Mercy senior setter, Scott has posted 158 assists, 173 digs, 65 ills, 26 service aces and 15 blocks in 14 matches. </p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="68130" first="Tess" last="Schrenger"] (Region 7 Player of the Year):</strong> A Sacred Heart junior outside hitter, Schrenger has delivered 242 kills, 17 blocks, 156 assists, 11 assists and 14 service aces in 18 matches. </p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="68069" first="Sequoia" last="Hunt"] (Region 8 Player of the Year):</strong> An Oldham County senior middle hitter, Hunt finished with 79 kills, 15 blocks and 25 digs in her team’s 12 matches. </p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="68136" first="Lucy" last="Trump"] (Region 9 Player of the Year):</strong> A Ryle junior outside hitter, Trump has 322 kills, 29 blocks, 149 digs and 24 service aces through 21 matches. </p> <p><strong>Marie Kiefer (Region 10 Player of the Year):</strong> A Bishop Brossart senior middle blocker, Kiefer has piled up 372 kills, 69 blocks, 179 digs, 23 service aces and 13 assists in 23 matches. </p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="68074" first="Abby" last="Shadwick"] (Region 11 Player of the Year):</strong> A Henry Clay outside hitter, Shadwick has recorded 223 kills, 19 blocks, 15 assists, 148 digs and 38 service aces in 20 matches. </p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="68112" first="Maddy" last="Foster"] (Region 12 Player of the Year):</strong> A Southwestern senior setter, Foster has registered 385 assists, 69 kills, 29 digs and 20 service aces in 19 matches. </p> <p><strong>Morgan Stacy (Region 13 Player of the Year):</strong> A Corbin senior middle hitter, Stacy has provided 96 kills, 42 blocks and 24 digs in 16 matches. </p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="68138" first="Emalee" last="Watts"] (Region 14 Player of the Year):</strong> A Breathitt County junior setter, Watts has dealt out 193 assists while tallying 68 kills, 48 digs and 62 service aces in 17 matches. </p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="68090" first="Riley" last="Tavis"] (Region 15 Player of the Year):</strong> A Pikeville senior setter/right side hitter, Tavis has distributed 539 assists while recording 117 digs, 83 kills, 93 blocks and 47 service aces in 18 matches. </p> <p><strong>McKenna Barfield (Region 16 Player of the Year):</strong> A Russell senior middle hitter, Barfield has tallied 198 kills, 63 blocks, 36 digs and 28 service aces in 17 matches. </p>
