Four 2022 OHs to Watch

<p><strong>Kiley McNally</strong> - 5’10 | OH | Colerain<br /> MnNally has an aggressive arm and whether in system or not she consistently looks to put some good pace on the ball as she has the ability to generate some good power. She was one of Colerain’s key offensive options on the left pin and saw a lot of opportunity throughout the season. With increased efficiency in her transition footwork patterns she will create more opportunities to get her feet to the ball with good momentum build and on balance to use that power more consistently in the air. </p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="114492" first="Audrey" last="Planner"]</strong> - 5’9 | OH | Loveland<br /> A six-rotation contributor, Planner has a good all-around skill set. She led Loveland at 3.1 kills per set as their primary offensive threat. She also averaged over 10 digs per match showing good patience and angle production when reading the opposing attackers on the defensive side. Offensively, she has good versatility to score from both pins and through combination patterns through the middle zones of the net. When she gets her feet to the ball she can utilize a fundamental arm swing to attack through good range of the court. </p> <p><strong>Piper Ricketts</strong> - 5’8 | OH/RS | Little Miami<br /> One of the Panthers’ key offensive options in 2020, Ricketts has good footwork, especially in her last two steps as she shows good understanding of how to get herself on balance to take a productive swing. When in system and on time she has good momentum and double-arm lift with good elevation off the court. She can create good torque action in the air and a fast arm through the ball. She maximizes her athleticism well as an outside hitter to generate placement and point scoring from both the front and back row. She is a repeat SWOC all-conference selection.</p> <p><strong>Kalli Wall</strong> - 5’10 | OH | Mason<br /> Wall has earned all-conference honors in the Greater Miami as an outside hitter for the Comets. She has good arm control to move the ball around at the peak of her jump. She can swing wrist-away to cut the ball sharp cross court or swing aggressively to challenge the defense well to the other side of the floor. When she gets her feet to the ball and is on balance she can create some good power. With ability to score with offspeed placement, she becomes more deceptive and effective by developing better efficiency in her movement to prepare for her approach work.</p>
