All five of these student-athletes will be heading into their senior seasons next fall and are members of the 2022 recruiting class.
MH, Darby Smith, 5’10”, St. John – Smith had a huge junior season for the Tigers. She finished the season with 452 kills. She has a nice swing and at five-foot Smith also has a big reach. The St. John middle also added 167 blocks to put her among state leaders in that category as well.
OH, Livia Schultz Livia Schultz 5'10" | OH Wheatland-Grinnell | 2022 State KS , 5’10”, Wheatland-Grinnell – Shultz is a solid six-rotation player who is a solid college prospect. She amassed 356 kills and 357 digs in her junior season for the Thunderhawks. Wheatland-Grinnell could be an early state favorite for the 2021 season.
OH, Lily Boughfman Lily Boughfman 6'0" | OH Little River | 2022 State KS , 6’2”, Little River – Boughfman is a two-sport star for the Little River Redskins. She is one of the top-ranked players in the class of 2021 and has helped lead the Redskins basketball team on a 12-game win streak heading into Sub State play. Boughfman finisher her junior season with 323 kills and added 64 aces.
OH, Kassie Miller Kassie Miller 5'6" | OH Golden Plains | 2022 State KS , 5’6”, Golden Plains – Miller finished with 221 kills for the Bulldogs in 2020. She can also set and is a solid defensive player. Her versatility will help ger possible recruitment.
MH, Madison Bruna Madison Bruna 5'10" | MB Hanover | 2022 State KS , 5’10”, Hanover – Bruna plays a key leadership role for the Hanover Wildcats. She finished her junior season with a total of 204 kills and was also a state leader in blocks with 102. The tall and talented middle of the court star will look to improve on those numbers in her senior campaign.
