Brandi Fuller Brandi Fuller 5'3" | DS/L Randolph | 2023 State WI – 5’3 – Randolph – River City 16 Blue
It was an impressive season for Randolph, even if it was a shortened one. Fuller tallied 245 digs and 17 aces in a condensed 2020 sophomore season. She is the libero for the Rockets but trades off the odd colored jersey responsibilities while playing in club. On the court, Fuller’s at the right place at the right time. She moves well and has great hands and the ability to cover a large amount of court. Fuller is a player who truly exemplifies what being a defender is all about, while being fast and a leader vocally and with her body language.
Jaelyn Sivertson – 5’7 – Iola-Scandinavia – Wisconsin Ice 16 Purple
Sivertson is a really solid libero on a team with a ton of ball control. She was vital for her squad in their 3rd place finish at the Badger Region Championships in March. Sivertson can take a big swing, but she would be a great player for any team needing a solid libero. She has terrific lateral quickness and a fast first step.
Meredith Bock – 5’6 – Kettle Moraine Lutheran – I AM VBC 16 Red
Bock brings positivity, strength, and physicality to I AM’s back row. Watching her play at the Battle In The Valley, she was graceful and helped their team to take the 16s Division. I AM VBC 16 Red has a lot of power across their front row.
Anna Kieselhorst – 5’5 – Luther Prep – River City 18 Blue Kieselhorst got some good experience during her high school season and now she is seeing lots of action during her club season. I’d like to see her getting some calls when June rolls around. Kieselhorst played up 2 age groups and her movement and command on the court alone shows why. She has an incredibly confident presence on defense, and she expands her reach with a controlled platform and produces a lot of quality contacts.
Elise Checkalski Elise Checkalski DS/L Appleton North | 2023 State WI – 5’3 – Appleton North – Impact 17 National
Limited action on varsity doesn’t mean a thing to this player. When Checkalski had an opportunity, she took advantage of it. Now during the club season, you will see she is thriving in the libero role for Impact while playing up an age. Checkalski is a smart player and fundamentally sound. She reads well on both defense and serve-receive. and Checkalski is quick to react.
