<p>With the high school season in Ohio set to begin at the start of August, here are some noteworthy commitments from prospects from around the state.</p>
<p>Pin attacker <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="114473" first="Sara" last="Bates"]</strong>, ranked #25 in Prep Dig Ohio’s prospect rankings for the class of 2022 is committed to play her college ball at Troy. She is a big threat at both pins as she can elevate well and swing with good pace and range. She will be key to Seton’s season this coming fall. </p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="114516" first="Brooke" last="Bultema"]</strong>, one of Ohio’s best middles in the class of 2023 has committed to NCAA national champion Kentucky. At 6’3, Bultema has great physicality and had continue to improve the quality of her play on both sides of the ball over the past several weeks leading the close of the club season. She has ability to play well above the net so look for her to be a big factor for Ursuline this fall. </p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="114465" first="Payton" last="Deidesheimer"]</strong> has committed to the University of Texas San Antonio. She is a versatile athlete at 5’11 and has ability to contribute in a lot of ways. The 5’11 Bishop Fenwick product and #21 player in Prep Dig Ohio’s 2022 prospect rankings recently helped her Elevation squad to a 5th place finish in the 17 American division at the USA Girls Junior National Championships in Vegas. </p>
<p>The top-ranked setter in the Prep Dig Ohio’s 2022 class is <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="114458" first="Sophia" last="Hudepohl"]</strong>. She will be taking her floor leadership and terrific ability to command the offense and full range of distribution skills to Lipscomb University. She is highly competitive and should follow up a great club season with her Tri-State team in helping guide St. Ursula to another postseason appearance.</p>
