These Oklahoma athletes have waited long enough to enjoy some recognition for being such great volleyball players. These young ladies are ready to take the court by storm now that high school volleyball is back on for a full season. They just finished their club seasons and we have some updates on how it went. We couldn’t be happier to give them kudos for their hard work as we announce their placement on the Prep Dig State Rankings List.
Kady Hansen Kady Hansen 6'3" | MB OKC Storm | 2023 State OK [2023] 6-2 Middle (HS: OKC Storm Homeschool/Club: Oklahoma Charge/Verbal: Uncommitted)
Kady is currently ranked as our best overall prospect and the top middle in the 2023 class according to our Prep Dig State Rankings. She plays for a homeschool program called OKC Storm and also club volleyball for the great Oklahoma Charge. This young lady has the frame that every coach drools over as she stands six foot two at the net in the front row. She is a stud middle who puts up a solid block sealing the net with her strong upper body strength. Most middles love to only hit one shot a majority of the time because its easy to face a certain way and hit with power. Kady is able to turn in the air and hit a cut back shot with power just as good as she hits her normal cut shot around the block. The most impressive aspect of her play has to be her footwork in the position as she transitions off the net and back to her setter for the quick attack. You can tell how coachable she is just by her great form. She understands tempo and timing as she is able to read the dig and adjust her footwork in order to be on time and available for her setter to run a quick tempo. I have been talking to a few schools about her and she is getting some interest. If I were a school, I would move fast as this is someone who is rising on college coaches radars. We are excited to have her as part of our Oklahoma State Rankings.
Kaylie Marshall Kaylie Marshall 5'10" | OH Piedmont | 2023 State OK [2023] 5-10 Outside (HS: Piedmont/Club: Oklahoma Peak Performance/Verbal: Uncommitted)
Kaylie is currently ranked as our 3rd best overall prospect and the top outside in the 2023 class according to our Prep Dig State Rankings. She is a fantastic outside hitter for Piedmont High School and one of the best club programs in the state in Oklahoma Peak Performance. Miss Marshall is a multi-sport athlete at Piedmont that stars for track and field and also made varsity basketball as a freshman. It is safe to say that this young lady is a true athlete and can do it all. It is very refreshing to see a player like her excel at multiple sports given this day and age of sport/position specialization. She hits the ball at the very peak of her jump and it shows her great timing at a young age. What Kaylie has that sets her apart is a very wicked whip of an arm swing that is deadly to opponents. She is able to score at a very high clip against almost every team she plays against. We are excited to watch her growth in the sport and follow her career. Please congratulate her on being recognized as one of the state’s best volleyball players.
Noelle Prideaux Noelle Prideaux 5'10" | RS Jenks | 2023 State OK [2023] 5-10 Right Side (HS: Jenks/Club: UPVBC/Verbal: Uncommitted)
Noelle is currently ranked as our 4th best overall prospect and the best right side in the 2023 class according to our Prep Dig State Rankings. She is super solid on the pins for Jenks High School and a plays club for one of the best in the state in UPVBC. Noelle possesses a strong upper body frame that will translate well to the college game in a few years if given the chance. She hits a very heavy ball and has the ability to turn on the ball to hit hard cross or paint the line with ease. The ability to do this at the age she is at now is astounding as it usually take players many years of perfecting it to be great at it. Miss Prideaux has an uncanny way of finding hands so well against opposing outside blockers and with her power she tools them very easily. This will keep her hitting efficiency extremely high throughout her entire career as she will only get better at it. We are excited to have her in our Prep Dig Family and look forward to watching her junior season.
