Continue ReadingWe are venturing all around the state to explore a few players we haven’t written about yet on our State Rankings List. These Oklahoma athletes have waited long enough to enjoy some recognition for being such great volleyball players. These young ladies are ready to take the court by storm now that high school volleyball is back on for a full season. They just finished their club seasons and we have some updates on how it went. We couldn’t be happier to give them kudos for their hard work as we announce their placement on the Prep Dig State Rankings List.
Haylee Harris Haylee Harris 5'5" | DS/L Deer Creek | 2023 State OK [2023] 5-4 Libero (HS: Deer Creek/Club: Oklahoma Charge/Verbal: Uncommitted)
Haylee is currently ranked as our 10th best overall prospect and the 2nd best libero in the 2023 class according to our Prep Dig State Rankings. She is one of the defensive anchors for Deer Creek High School and plays for one of the best club programs in the state in Oklahoma Charge. She was key for Deer Creek as they were able to play in the Oklahoma State 6A tournament. Haylee shows great touch on the ball and quick footwork across the back row. I like how she keeps her posture forward when she’s reading the play. This will help her stay consistent on digging/passing and keeping the ball in-system. She also does a great job of digging out of system balls well outside of her range. We are excited to have her in the Oklahoma Prep Dig State Rankings. Please congratulate her on achieving the recognition of her hard work.
Camryn Farley Camryn Farley 5'11" | MB Stillwater | 2023 State OK [2023] 5-11 Middle (HS: Stillwater/Club: Club ONE/Verbal: Uncommitted)
Camryn is currently ranked as our 11th best overall prospect and the 3rd best middle in the 2023 class according to our Prep Dig State Rankings. She plays for Stillwater High School and also club volleyball for the Club ONE. We are excited to have her as part of our Oklahoma State Rankings as we think she has a very high ceiling to improve in the middle position. She was very productive last year for Stillwater as she tallied 51 kills, .149 hitting percentage, and added 28 blocks. We have a feeling she will have a great junior season this year. She is very active along the net both blocking and attacking. She showcases her lightning quick arm swing during overpasses often. What I truly love about her offense is the fact that she can turn on the ball to hit a great cutback shot around the block instead of trying to power through a seam. Attacking like this will raise her efficiency a lot this season. We are proud to have her in the Rankings and look forward to covering her. Please help us congratulate her on being one of the top players in the State of Oklahoma.
Abigail Gray Abigail Gray 5'9" | OH Norman North | 2023 State OK [2023] 5-9 Outside (HS: Norman North/Club: Oklahoma Peak Performance/Verbal: Uncommitted)
Abby is currently ranked as our 12th best overall prospect and the 3rd best outside in the 2023 class according to our Prep Dig State Rankings. She is fantastic on the pins for Norman North High School and a great club team in OP2. The studious baller has a 4.0 GPA and uses that great brain to power her volleyball IQ as well. This youngster plays with a very infectious fire that fuels her teammates to play at a high level. What some may consider undersized at the position doesn’t matter to Abby as she has some bounce and pop to her game on the pins. She uses every part of her body to jump with any opponent. Her timing for hitting and blocking is second to none as she is able to hit at a high clip and shut down opponents. What I love about her play is that she can turn on the ball to hit line when the defense shifts to block the hard cross ball. Her vision while she is in the air is what will keep her relevant to college coaches as she excels on the offensive end. We are excited to have her in our Prep Dig Family and look forward to watching her junior season. Please help us congratulate her on the honor she just earned.
