New Commits from 2023 and 2022 Classes

<p>With recruiting finally opening up June 15th for the incoming Juniors, let’s take a look at a big commit from the 2023 class and a few from the 2022 class.</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="103095" first="Alanna" last="Bankston"]</strong>, outside hitter from Premier 16 Gold and Millard West high school has committed to attend and play volleyball for Louisville. On June 15th over 60 schools reached out to Alanna. She made camp visits to University of Kentucky, Creighton, Wayne State and Louisville and was considering official visits to LSU, KState, Iowa State and Illinois State. Alanna considered offers from 5 D1 schools, including schools in ACC, Big East, Big 12, Summit League conferences.</p> <p>Alanna had this to say about why she chose Louisville: “<em>The reason that I chose Louisville volleyball is because it’s a very successful program with a great culture and atmosphere. During my camp visit I felt really comfortable with the coaches and players and I was able to easily connect with the Louisville coaching style. l was always constantly comparing Louisville to all the other schools. When I started narrowing down my options, I seriously couldn’t see myself going anywhere else but Louisville!
