<p>Region 7 features several talented seniors, some of whom are middle blockers or middle hitters. <br />
<br />
Annually, multiple perennial state title contenders compete in talent-heavy Region 7 and boast numerous standouts. </p>
<p>Here are four 2022 Region 7 middles to watch. </p>
<p><strong>Katie Kaelin</strong> is a middle blocker for Presentation High School. Kaelin executes fast attacks efficiently and is a consistent blocker. Aggressive at the net, Kaelin reads the setter and adjusts her approach to get the most out of attacks regularly. </p>
<p><strong>Trinity Ramey</strong> is a middle hitter/outside hitter for Christian Academic-Louisville. Ramey is a versatile player who can deliver as a blocker and hit consistently from the left side. Productive, Ramey uses quick attacks on offense regularly. </p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="104567" first="Emily" last="Ready"]</strong> is a middle blocker/opposite for Assumption High School. Ready possesses a diverse skill set and in addition to thriving in the middle can deliver as a hitter from the right side of the net. Agile, Ready moves well to either side and helps teammates close blocks regularly. </p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="68128" first="Madison" last="Rice-Locket"]</strong> is a middle blocker for Male High School. Athletic, Rice-Locket is one of the state’s top high school volleyball leaders. A longtime leader for her high school volleyball team, possesses an exceptional skill set and uses athleticism to thrive as a blocker and hitter. </p>
