The Frontier Valley Conference is made up of 10 larger East side teams. This includes: 5A Sapulpa, 6A Muskogee, 6A Booker T. Washington, 6A Bixby, 6A Union, 6A Sand Springs, 6A Jenks, 6A Bartlesville, 6A Broken Arrow, and 6A Owasso. This conference sends two teams, sometimes three, each year to the state tournament. With the perineal powerhouse teams like BA, Jenks, Union and Owasso, then tack on the rise of teams such as Sand Springs, Bixby, Bartlesville, Sapulpa and BTW, it is easy to see why this conference has continued to get stronger as a whole.

Teams ranked: Broken Arrow 6A #3, Jenks 6A #5, Owasso 6A #7, Bixby 6A #9, Union 6A #12, Sand Springs 6A #12, Booker T. Washington 6A #16, Bartlesville 6A #15, Sapulpa 5A #5

5A Sapulpa- 5’10 [player_tooltip player_id="144093" first="Ryann" last="Hoey"] a senior OH for the chieftains. She has 9 blocks, is currently hitting a .194 and leads the team with 90 kills. She also contributes heavily from the service line as she has 16 aces. Coach Harp says "She is a leader on and off the court, as well as contributes to every aspect of the game with her passing, hitting, blocking, serving, and defense." Stailee Heard is another staple for the chieftains. She is a highly recruited basketball player and leads the team with 20 blocks. She is a very dynamic and efficient player. She also is hitting a .324 out of the middle blocker position.

6A Broken Arrow- 6’1 senior OH [player_tooltip player_id="144086" first="Mackenzie" last="McGuire"], has committed to play division 1 volleyball at Kent State. " She is a big hitter who has played well when her team has needed her most." She definitely causes opposing teams to game plan around her, which allows her teammates to flourish a bit easier. She currently has 102 kills, hitting a .254, 36 digs, 16 aces, 36 digs and a serve receive rating of a 2.14. [player_tooltip player_id="145985" first="Hailee" last="Alexander"] is a 2023 5’5 setter for the tigers. "She has done a great job at moving the ball to all of our hitters" said Coach Bullen. She currently has 161 assists, 68 digs, and 13 aces on the season.

6A Booker T. Washington- 5’9 senior OH [player_tooltip player_id="144133" first="Sydney" last="Thompson"] is an overall stat stuffer. She has 24 aces, 88 digs, 53 kills, with a .200 hitting efficiency, and passing a 2.48 in serve receive. A 3.0 in serve receive is considered "perfect", so she is really doing a fantastic job for the hornets. Coach Lee "Sydney is the epitome of a team player. She’s a great leader, teammate, and one of the hardest workers on the team. Her leadership on and off the court helps our team achieve the successes we are striving for." 6’0 senior middle blocker Taryn McIntosh has racked up 12 blocks, 52 kills and served 13 aces this season. Coach Lee "Sometimes middles don’t get as much recognition as some other positions but the way Taryn plays makes everyone look out for her. Her energy, enthusiasm, and skills make her a natural leader and someone the team can depend on to score."

6A Owasso- 2024 OH Carly Butler and 2022 S [player_tooltip player_id="144125" first="Rylee" last="Martin"] are the big time players for the rams. A couple lesser known players that have made this team a dynamic group are 2023 L Jaden Williams and 2024 MB/OH Jada Bishop. Williams really helps to patrol the back row, while Bishop does a great job of hitting a variety of sets and tempos to keep the blockers guessing. They have some really talented underclassmen, look for this team to be really good for a few years.

6A Sand Springs- 5’9 junior OH Payton Robbins plays 6 rotations for the Sandites and leads her team with 90 kills and 22 aces. She also has the highest server rating with a 2.32, which means the other team is averaging less than a 1.7 in SR when she is on the service line. 2022 setter [player_tooltip player_id="144126" first="Tehya" last="Johnson"] has 224 assists, 68 digs and 13 aces. Johnson has the school record for assists in a career and continues to build it each game. 6’0 2023 Mb [player_tooltip player_id="145974" first="Layla" last="Lenex"] really made a name for herself last season but has continued to grow stronger this season. She leads the team with 19 blocks and hitting percentage with a 0.210.

6A Muskogee- 2022 Jazzy Henry is averaging 18 assists per match and leading the rougher’s offense. She also is adding 8 digs per match to help defensively. 2025 Raegan Essex has stepped up and tosses in 13 kills per match. She has done a great job as a freshman to play so composed and confident. The Roughers are coached by long time coach, John Hammer.

6A Bartlesville- One of the best players in the state of Oklahoma plays for Bartlesville High school and has committed to play division 1 volleyball at Dayton. [player_tooltip player_id="144139" first="Mia" last="Otten"] is a 6’3 senior right side hitter. Right sides that can block and attack at her rate are few and far between. She has 163 kills already this year. Her hitting efficiency is through the roof at .372. For reference, most colleges like to have their RH hitting around .280. One of her best games so far came against Stillwater High School where she alone had 25 kills. Coach Ward "Mia is a great player and an even better person. She accepts the lion’s share of the attacking responsibilities with grace." The girl dishing all the sets to Mia is Bartlesville’s senior setter, Sydney Collins. She already has 224 assists on the year. She does a great job tracking balls down and also being able to back set from anywhere on the floor. She also plays as a defensive specialist in club for a high level team, so she also plays great right back defense for the bruins.

6A Union- 2022 OH [player_tooltip player_id="144105" first="Tierney" last="Jackson"] has been the face of the program for the last couple years but players like 2023 MB [player_tooltip player_id="146000" first="Sidney" last="Smith"] and 2022 MB [player_tooltip player_id="144141" first="Madison" last="LaPointe"] have emerged as big reasons why their front row has turned into a menace for opposing teams. This teams plays a tough schedule and they are currently in the KSA tournament in Florida battling teams from all over the US.

6A Bixby- 2022 OH [player_tooltip player_id="144101" first="Karson" last="Pirtle"] and 2023 OH [player_tooltip player_id="145964" first="Olivia" last="Vance"] are a dynamic duo. They both play 6 rotations for the Spartans. During their rematch with Sand Springs, they combined for 30 kills of their teams 42. They also had over half the teams digs. Lastly, they had half of the teams aces. These two have played a huge role in why this team has started the season 12-5 and ranked in the top 10. Look for this team to battle the back half of the year to host a regional.

6A Jenks- 2022 senior libero [player_tooltip player_id="144134" first="Megan" last="Salyer"] is averaging 11 digs per match for her team. She does a fantastic job of reading hitters and sliding into the gaps to grab digs that other defenders couldn’t get to. Look for her stock to be on the rise. 5’10 2023 hitter [player_tooltip player_id="145963" first="Noelle" last="Prideaux"] has 26 kills on the season and has really given the Trojans a threat at the pin. One of the top 2024 players, Maren Johnson is currently leading her team in kills. Look for her to return and impact her team in a big way.
